Note to self, don’t check foundation emails whilst away 🙃…

I’m currently out in Ukraine & have just learned that the funding allocated to The Spearhead Foundation for its rent has been withdrawn due to unforeseen circumstances which have been explained and it’s a reasonable reason in fairness so I’m not going to put them on blast here. However what this instantly means is the organisation has a huge bill now due to keep its doors open and I’m hoping that LinkedIn can connect me to someone kind enough to allow the organisation to continue to support those who need it most.

We’ve got just days to raise the rent as we were expecting £12.8k to arrive & be paid so to have it withdrawn is heartbreaking. I can’t begin to explain the stress this has no doubt cast on the organisation, the service users and beyond.

The Spearhead Foundation is a organisation where nobody makes a living ensuring each pound supports our users. We help hundreds a year & have managed ourselves in a way where we certainly didn’t expect to find ourselves in this situation.

So here we are, hoping we can reach out to you all on LinkedIn to see if your company or you personally want to help the foundation.
