We still have a few tickets available on the door for this evenings fundraiser…. We have some great prizes in the raffle and some great coffee will be served by our local coffee guy , a fundraising bar will be set up so you can “adult” your drinks and the scouts will be fundraising with homemade chilli. Little Northerners is an unmanned PRE SCHOOL Play Space. It is cleaned and checked daily. We have successfully run the space in the spirit of “ it takes a village to raise a child” 🙏 which is really quite special.

I’m increasingly finding age inappropriate toys in the space.

Please ensure your children are supervised ✔️
Remove anything that you don’t consider Safe ✔️
Report near misses or any accidents in the space ✔️ ( there is a sign displayed inside with a number in it)

🎄✨ Calling All Creatives! Be Part of A Very Stretford Christmas✨🎄

We’re on the lookout for talented local creatives to join us for A Very Stretford Christmas - a magical, collaborative community event taking place on Saturday, 14th December at St Matthew’s Parish Church in Stretford.

We’re inviting poets, musicians, spoken word artists, theatre groups, choirs and talented humans to share their talents and help us create a festive night to remember. This is a celebration of local creativity, bringing together families and young people for an evening of inspiration, joy, and Christmas cheer.

This event is a partnership between Lily Through a Lens, Feel Weird Studios, Stretford Scouts and St Matthew’s Parish Church, all working together to showcase the incredible talent in Stretford.

✨ What We’re Looking For
- Performers of all ages who live in or have connections to Stretford
- Unique acts that will light up the stage and captivate an audience
- A passion for community and spreading Christmas magic

Whether you’re part of a choir, a solo artist, a spoken word performer, or a theatre group, we’d love to hear from you!

We have some news….. after a year of assessments we’ve been signed off as Foster Carers 👏👏👏 we are specialising in babies aged 0-2yrs.
In the same week we found out a close family member will be starting Chemotherapy ❤️‍🩹
Little Northerners will continue to operate as normal. My assistant will be taking over the safety checks and cleaning, I will continue to deliver Stay and Plays Friday from 1-3. I’ll be doing my thing from a distance for a little while to reduce the risk of infection, but I look forward to still connecting with you all from a distance xx

Lily is a real inspiration and her film club has been a lifeline to my daughter Tallulah. Our family are also beginning the unexpected and uncertain "Cancer Journey" thankfully not Pancreatic Cancer. So I hear you. Best of luck with your challenge Lily Through a Lens we'll be behind you every step of the way xx

November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month. It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die within 3 months. I’m fundraising to help drive research breakthroughs that could save lives. Could you support me with a donation? Thank you.

Why am I doing this ?

Place make it events is a small family centric events company to be based in the heart of Stretford. My vision is to deliver good quality experiences that are inclusive and accessible to all.

Having conceived, built and grown the Fleximinder childcare late in 2019 I decided to pass the baton on to someone new and draw on my experiences with children and as a parent to start a new adventure.

Having been offered the role of “Head Elf” by the big man himself at Elf Towers I has such a great time with the children I thought I would extend that enthusiasm throughout the year.

I will be working closely with Bruntwood and Stretford Mall to deliver high quality, accessible and engaging events with an emphasis on families although all the community will be welcome.
