We are Karlix Collective est. 2020, a collective of artists, DJs and producers based in Manchester, striving to promote the best of underground music in and around our beloved city. Co-founders Ieuan Thomas aka Ami:anthus and Matt Gilhespy aka Fractal have been mixing and producing 140s/Drum & Bass since joining MMU/MSoA in 2018 and have combined their love for underground music to form a collective that allows them to incorporate creative and musical ideas with friends and fellow students at Manchester School of Art. We strive to curate events that not only expose the best up and coming producers Manchester has to offer but to also create a space that is accepting of anyone and everyone regardless of class, race, gender etc.

This mixtape is a selection of our favourite soulful Drum & Bass records, including some of Manchester's best Producers/Musicians/Vocalists, that kept us sane during the many months in lockdown.
