The Christmas Comic Con is getting closer.

Sale Christmas Comic Con is just over three weeks away on Saturday 7 December.

Posters will be going up soon and look out for the event map designed and created for us by the fantastic Nina Martell at Martellmakesmaps.

Follow the map around town to see who is appearing where on the day.

Get that nice warm feeling of knowing the Bat Signal is on at Sale Christmas Comic Con. Saturday 7 December.

On those cold dark winter nights its nice to know somebody is out there keeping an eye out for us. Just in case he is needed we will have the Bat Signal on hand at Sale Christmas Comic Con.

Batman wont mind if you have your picture taken with it.

Encounter the 77 at Sale Christmas Comic Con Saturday 7 December.

Today we can announce that the good folks from The 77 Comic will be joining us at Sale Christmas Comic Con.

The 77 is a fantastic adult orientated comic in the style of 2000AD. With its continued success the publishers have gone on to produce a whole range of comics including the recent "This Comic is Haunted", which is now up to issue 4.

Joining us for the day and located in Sale Library are editor Ben Cullis and artist Mike Walters. Come and meet them, get yourself some comic goodies while you are at it.

Come and meet Nina at Sale Christmas Comic Con. Saturday 7 December.

We are delighted to say that local artist Nina Martell is joining us at Sale Christmas Comic Con.

Nina is a graduate of John Moors University with a B.A. Hons in Art & Design. Since then she has built a great reputation for stylistic artwork, in particular her detailed maps of local South Manchester areas. She will have work with her for purchase on the day and you can catch up with more of her creations at www.ninamartell.co.uk and on Facebook at martellmakesmaps.

The Star Wars guest list is expanding again with the addition of actor Martin Ballantyne.

MARTIN BALLANTYNE

The guests for Sale Christmas Comic Con just keep on coming. We are delighted to say that joining us in the Star Wars Zone is actor Martin Ballantyne.

Martin is an accomplished film and television actor with a string of blockbuster films behind him including Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, The Dark Knight, two Harry Potters, The Half Blood Prine and Deathly Hallows. He also appeared in the The Bourne Ultimatum and one of its later sequels Jason Bourne.

On television he had a recurring part as "Jason" in 3 seasons of the popular Stephen Fry series "Kingdom". More recently he gained his Star Wars credentials by featuring in the Obi Wan Kenobi series for Lucasfilm/Disney.

COMIC ARTIST ALY FELL

We are very pleased to announce that artist Aly Fell will be joining us at Sale Christmas Comic Con.

Aly is a well know as an illustrator in the comic industry and is the man behing award winning graphic novel "A Trick of the Light". In addition he has worked as an animator in television on such shows as Danger Mouse and Count Duckula. Ali also has worked extensively in computer gaming.

You can meet him at Sale Christmas comic Con on Saturday 7 December.

Our plans for Sale Christmas Comic Con are coming together. We are pleased to announce the Beano Artists Zone which will be located in Emporium M33, Tatton Road in Sale.

We are delighted to announce two new guests for Sale Christmas Comic Con. You will be able to meet actresses Maria Taylor and Lila Lasso.

Between them they have a wide range of TV, film and theatre credits but are perhaps best known for the cult horror franchise Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey.
