The first event!

We have BARONETTE playing with Enuma Elish, shopfront and Match Fixing!

Each band playing has at least one female member to run with our ethos of championing women in the rock/alt music scene!

Tickets are priced at £6 a ticket with £3 from each ticket going to Manchester Women's Aid (The Pankhurst Trust)

Hi!
My name's Lauren and I'm starting a new event in Manchester and I'm looking for musicians who identify as female who play in the rock genre. So, whether you play in a band, you're a solo rock artist or half your band's male.. I'd like to see if you're interested!

Date: 29 February 2024 (yes, it's a leap year)
Location: Lock 91, Manchester
With help from: John @ Leaf Promotions

The idea is to showcase and champion women in (primarily) rock with ideas to expand into supporting women who are creative in other ways e.g. graphic design, photography, sound production etc.
Inline with this, I've contacted Manchester Women's Aid/The Pankhurst Trust about donating a portion of any proceeds (£3 from every ticket).

To rip the band aid off now - there is no budget for this event so performers would get £2 from every ticket they sell, but no minimum sale amount before you get paid, simply £2 from every ticket whether you sell 1 or 50.
