Miners Arts and Music

Join us for our December Do at the Miners. We have been working with a group of lads from North Manchester to create an afternoon full of music, live performances and new art works sharing themes important to the SCULPT group.

SCULPT is a newly formed group for young men in North Manchester. We have been meeting weekly to discuss current affairs, opinions, mental health and supporting each other in different ways.

Local artist Louis Beckett and storyteller Smug Roberts have been leading session with us (Josh & Chloe). The lads have been working on some really impactful stuff and we’d love to share it all with you on Sunday 1st December 2-4pm with some food and drinks.

We will also have a pop up video games tournament from Nathan at Meet your Makers!

Hi everyone, our new sessions are starting from Monday 23rd at The Miners, Moston. SCULPT, is a group for lads 15-20 from around the area. We will be chatting, eating pizza, making some art and having weekly pool tournaments. Something for everyone but a much needed space for the young men in our area at the moment.

Smug Roberts will host storytelling workshops and Louis Beckett will make life size sculptures with them!

The sessions will conclude in November with a big launch night where the art work and stories will be on show. With live comedy and music.
