We’ve always been obsessed with bringing you the juiciest, tastiest, no-nonsense burgers with the best ingredients from top-quality suppliers and a patty mix that took us years to perfect.

Now, we’ve had a blast over the last 10 years, throwing wicked specials your way. But it’s time for a reset.

Our beef is the real star of the show. It’s in the name What’s Your Beef! So we’re going back to basics. Our new menu is lean, mean, and packed with the all-time classics you love – no frills, just proper tasty burgers done right.

If we’re being completely honest, it’s either simplify or say goodbye. We’re keeping it tight so our kitchen crew can focus on the good stuff. With all the options out there, we’re doubling down on what we do best – proper tasty burgers you can’t get enough of.

So here’s what’s new: We’ve stripped our menu back to bring you the best of the best, you’ll find some simple choices like a classic Cheeseburger or a Double Bacon Cheese, we’ve created a new sauce to elevate the flavours on your palate - please welcome our ‘Shack Sauce’.

We’re now serving our chicken as tenders, rather than thighs, and we have created a new spice mix for this too! Old favourites like Hypa Beef and Stateside, will be back as monthly specials, along with your crowd-pleasers, your legends, the burgers you keep coming back for.

Where and when? The new menu is now available in Kargo, all pop-ups, and private events 🍔🔥

Due to the Met Office weather warning for tomorrow morning (Friday), with Storm Lillan forecast to bring strong winds to much of the Northwest, we will be delaying the public opening of the festival until 2pm on Friday August 23.

As ever, our top priority remains the safety and well being of everyone involved with the festival and those attending.

Any further updates will be provided here.

However, following the advice of the Met Office, there is no further disruption expected during the festival.

On this week’s Takeaway Champions, we headed out of the city centre and got a tram down to Stretford for some ridiculously tasty burgers from @whatsyourbeefburgers at Stretford Mall, all made with proper Lancashire beef. Our fat @deliveroo order landed us with not only burgers but duck-loaded salt & pepper fries AND salt & pepper tater tots. As Jack said: “My Irish ancestors are crying right now, potatoes have peaked.” The feast had our taste buds calling for more but our stomachs filled to the brim. Sourced from a multiple-award-winning local butcher, all our beef is grass-fed and ethically reared. (We’re picky about the bacon too.) After extensive testing, we chose our favourite prime cuts of meat for their outstanding flavour and texture. Adding the highest-quality ingredients to our recipes - like fresh red onion, spicy Jalapeños and sweet chilli - makes our burgers truly memorable.
