How long should you hire us for?
The answer to this depends on the service provided and also the number of guests you are having, I will explain in detail below.

Digital services without prints - You can have these for the duration of your event, use as much as you like.

Print services - We start at 2 hours hire, this includes staff, prints and props. We can attend for as long as you wish but often we find some events hire us for longer than needed, therefore paying more than they need to.
We advise
Up to 80 guests 2 hours
80-150 guests 2/3 hours
150-250 guests 3 hours
Over 250 guests 3/4 hours

If you was to book 2 hours but find it is really busy and want to keep us longer we have the ability to accept card payment onsite for extra time, likewise if you have over booked we can finish earlier if required and refund for unused time (example booked 4 hours, only do 3, we would refund an hour)

Best time to start?

Most of our services we provide in the evenings at celebrations, we would always advise to start your hire approx 1 hour after evening guests arrive, for weddings a common issue we see is we get booked to start too early, speeches haven't finished, room hasn't been changed around, meal still ongoing and other reasons. Unwritten rule of thumb for weddings, have us start about an hour after the time you have invited your evening guests, this gives them chance to arrive, say hello, get a drink etc. Nobody is going to arrive and jump straight on a photobooth. A good common time to start us at a wedding would be 8pm
Again we will arrive and start at whatever time you wish but with 8 years in the business we feel in a good position to give this bit of advice.
Touching on weddings again, if you book us to start at 7pm, we would be arriving around 6pm to setup, this is a time that we often find the day proceedings still ongoing, and we are told that it is not possible to setup until things have finished.

The above info is more for weddings, birthdays or any special occasion, the above differs slightly for corporate events, day events, fundraisers etc.

We are currently trialling out some new software for the Selfie Pod.
It has the option to add Ai images onto photos but don't worry if that isn't your thing it also takes regular photos.
The Ai features are brilliant and will give you extra fun with photos from your event.
With many options built in but also has Face swap option so allowing you to become a player in your favourite football team, someone from history, an actor and much more.
We are having great fun playing with this but also want to make sure it is right before we offer it out for hire.

Due to the cost of the software it does raise the cost of the Selfie Pod (only if you are having the Ai software)
