So happy to see these gorgeous pics of Lizzy wearing her fab Watters gown from 130 Atelier. Doesn’t she look stunning! 😍 Loved seeing Lizzy and her family when they were in for their appointments over the summer so seeing these this morning has really brightened my day.

Little announcement 💙👶🏼 Alexander John (Alex) finally made his entrance in to the world on Sunday weighing 6lb 13oz. We’re both doing really well and his brothers absolutely adore him.

Thank you to all my brides and their families for all their kind words and messages. We’re taking it easy for the next couple of weeks and Alex will be making a few appearances in my studio from time to time while we settle in to a new routine and I continue to look after my brides for their alterations (sewing machine white noise is amazing!)

Love when one of my brides pops up on my timeline! Meg fabulous jumpsuit from Jean Jackson Couture needed a few tweaks to her sleeves so they sat right and a small hem to her gorgeous wide leg trousers (and they had pockets too! Always a winner!) Lucy’s gorgeous January wedding in the Lakes looks amazing! Lucy came in for a lift on the shoulders and a nip in at the sides, plus hemming all that gorgeous lace around the bottom of her dress. I absolutely love her cardigan she has accessorised with and her beautiful muted tones to her flowers. Such a stunning location too! Congratulations again Lucy xx

Morning everyone!

Just a couple of quick messages - I’m absolutely inundated with normal sewing requests at the moment. Please bear in mind my turnaround time is currently about 10 days - 2 weeks. I really struggle to do anything quicker than that as I’m just too busy. If you have something you need altering, please contact me ahead to make an appointment. While I will always try and see you if you turn up, it is just me and I am sometimes with a long bridal fitting / out buying material / at the bank, post office etc etc and all the other jobs that come up when you’re self employed 😊 I may get to the point soon where I have to close my books for normal sewing and focus on wedding season, so please bear this in mind too.

2024 brides - I am nearly full for the summer now. If you have been in touch earlier in the year to make an initial enquiry but then leave it another 2 months to make contact again, please don’t assume I will still have the space to see you. While I will bend over backwards to fit in as many brides as I possibly can, I have a limit of what I can safely take on without spreading myself too thinly and I would never jeopardise the quality of my work so unfortunately I do have to have a cut off point. You are only booked in with me properly if we arrange a firm appointment time or I tell you I have added you to my lists for your wedding month, with the view to making your appointment nearer the time. I hate saying no or letting people down so if you have been in touch, please make sure you follow up with me and book me in like any of your other wedding suppliers.
