New Craven Hall is Leeds' original industrial urban luxe wedding venue, founded in 2016. Tucked away in the developing South Bank area of the city, you're guaranteed an aesthetic and ambience like no other. From the outside in, we embrace the building’s former life as a warehouse while housing a quirky, modern and accessible space as a unique wedding venue. Steven has been playing at weddings for almost 15 years. He is vastly experienced at tailoring unique alternative / indie playlists to each wedding he attends. While Steven is only one man he can do it all, from MCing your day, creating chilled out playlists for your afternoon, and getting the dance floor full all night with his multi instrumental loop pedal set up.

In 2019 he won The Wedding Industry Best Solo Music Act national awards and sat on the judging panel for the next five years. He lives in a neurodiverse home with his crazily talented author and artist wife, three absolutely bad ass, world changing children, two neurotic cats (one of whom adopted his family) and a tiny Maltese dog who thinks it can fight every living organism.*

With her acoustic guitar, Emelia's style can fit perfectly in any part of your wedding, be that during your ceremony, while your guests have some grub, or for your first dance!

As you can all see, I've been so crazy busy with Wedding season and then Alt Wedding Season as of recent. As well as Wedding Fair season! Argh!

So before it gets too crazy with mobile bar jobs in December, after my final wedding of the year this weekend (it's a biggy!), and the leeds wedding fair NEXT sunday (3rd) - I'll be escaping to Thailand with my love for a few weeks.

I've never been before so I'm really excited - also the money to pay for the trip, I won in a battle against some horrible ex housemates, so the trip is even sweeter.

I'm taking the laptop, even I can't go 3 weeks without working, the guilt would be too much, however I'll be focusing on Mobile bar stuff, Wedding Fair stuff, and emergencies. Therefore to my lovely couples, I'll be in touch on the 25th Nov when I return, but as always, let me know if you need anything during this time :)

Attached is all the upcoming wedding fairs booked until Jan, Gorrilla in Feb will be announced in December officially :) Who knows maybe we will do another Leeds one in march also?

BEN AND MEG

These two - just wow! Ben and Meg had a clear and strong vision for their special day. It was to be chic, theatrical, artsy and memorable. As you can see from this gorgeous set up it was exactly that. All 3 of us come from planning backgrounds and therefore the detail was to be immaculate.

New century hall hosted the big event, the guestlist was 300 strong. Higher ground supplied the food at their MCR restaurant, 14 taxis booked by me took them from one venue to the other and back again. The whole vibe was berlin-esque and the wedding aesthetic was based on the movie 'The Cook, The Theif, His Wife and Her Lover' - a blood red 80s movie with lavish Jean Paul Gaultier costumes. If you haven't seen it do go watch it. This was a real favourite of mine!

Sadly this was a double booking, therefore my partner in crime nailed the ex*****on on the day
