📣 LINE UP ANNOUNCEMENT🌲

We’re delighted to announce the continuation of our residency at the Carlton Club with our Winter Session, on Friday 13th December.

EARLY BIRDS NOW ON SALE AT £6.

So Flute residents Danuka and Baloo will be joined by Adge, who played one of the best sets of the night at our Ninth Birthday back in March.

Joining them will be Eccah, one of the most exciting up and coming DJ’s in and around Manchester, who will be making his second So Flute appearance.

Resident vibesman MC Kwasi, will hosting the dance all night long, despite his busy schedule. We are blessed to have him as part of our family.

As you may or may not be aware, the Carlton Club is facing eviction after 111 years of being at Rowan Lodge. The Carlton is an essential social club in Whalley Range, as well as being an important music venue, and is the place we have called home for all 2024. We have decided that ALL profits from our Winter Session will go towards helping the Carlton fight their eviction notice.

The Carlton Club boasts a rich history steeped in tradition and prestige. Established in 1911, it originally served as a private members’ club for the city’s affluent elite, providing a distinguished venue for social gatherings and networking.

Over the years, the club has witnessed significant historical events and has been frequented by notable figures from various fields, including politics, business, and the arts. Its elegant Victorian architecture and opulent interiors reflect the grandeur of its past, making it an iconic landmark in Manchester’s cultural landscape.

The intimate space and vintage ambience of The Carlton Club matches So Flute's vibe perfectly and as previously confirmed by founder/resident Danuka, we will be making the Carlton Club our home for the rest of the year, with a summer, autumn and winter session.

We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to make this space our home for the night again and know that you guys will love it as much as you did the first time.

CAPACITY & TICKET UPDATE 🎟️

Owing to the reversal of a recent overall capacity cap at The Carlton Club, we are very happy to confirm that we can accommodate 170 persons at our ninth Birthday show rather than the 140 persons we had originally budgeted around.

The result of this capacity increase means that we are able to move the total allocation of Second Release tickets into the First Release bracket.

If you have purchased a Second Release ticket, please contact us for a partial refund of £3/ticket.

We aim to keep ticket prices as affordable as we’re able to in a climate where operating costs for events and venues have increased substantially in recent years, like most things 😞

By working to a higher capacity for this show, there is less risk of a loss which we’re able to reflect in our pricing.

At the point of us posting this update, there are 57 tickets in total remaining, so jump in now if you’re joining us!
