T'was amazing to be part of this wedding.

Great venue allowing the couple to personalise it the day before (and for me to set up).

I did Ceremony Music, and then right through until the end of the night - which I didn't want to come.

It was truly special. Anna and Tom very much made it their own.

Last night in North Manchester, I had the client meeting for my last wedding of the year. And a full moon.
It's been great being back DJ'ing weddings. And I think I've missed meeting couples just as much.
I always meet about six weeks before the wedding.

I've now got notes to type up for these last weddings of a year which has gone crazy-fast (but it did only really get going since June / July).

I've been quiet on the socials during this busy time but I'll be back to updating soon, and I'm looking forward to sharing some photographs and stories.

One year since my last wedding. Happy anniversary to Melissa and Jon. Theirs was such a great wedding (and just in the nick of time.)
Was also great to see Matt and Laura again too - it was their wedding where Melissa and Jon saw me.

What I try and do in my films is to create a mood, that I feel does as much to explains what I’m saying as do the words. And I think I’m quite normal, and if it creates that it in me, it probably will in others too.

There’s a terrible disease in public film, where if they have a story about bankers, they’ll put in Money by The Pink Floyd and your heart sinks when they do that. It stops you experiencing the film.
Where I think, if you put in music that keeps the mood going, you feel it rather than are thinking about it.

I know that sounds a but odd, but it somehow means you can explain a lot more that way.

There was a sense a while ago that we would exit lockdown as instantly as we entered it last March. And people dreaming about how good it will be. It’s becoming more likely that we’ll limp out of this in a staggered fashion. But I don’t want those dreams to fade.

My dream is more specific. At some point in the future when gigs are allowed again. I’m going to be at a Gerry Cinamon gig. And when the intro to Sometimes kicks in, and everyone around me loses it at the exact same time. How good will it be?!
