A huge thank you to those of you that have been enquiring with me since I reopened. I am so sorry to those of you I couldn’t fit in. I seem to be saying no more than I’m saying yes at the moment and for this I am so sorry. Unfortunately, I am finding the main job/mum of two/side hustle of balloons unmanageable so with a heavy heart I’m closing until 2025 (all bookings with a deposit paid are still going ahead) ✨✨✨

I have honestly been overwhelmed by the amount of messages (and face-to-face chats) that I’ve had with so many of you. You’ve all been so complimentary about my balloons and all so gutted to hear of my closure. I’ve even had people I don’t know approach me and ask if I am re-opening.

After some thinking, I have decided to re-open BUT with very limited availability. This is because balloons are not my main job and I want to ensure I am not spending every weekend working and missing out on precious time with my children, especially whilst they are so young. Also, as my repeat customers will know, I am VERY fussy and like my balloons to be perfect (you can thank my OCD).

As well as limited availability, I will also be limiting what I offer and focusing on what balloons I enjoy the most. I will not be offering large amounts of Halloween, Christmas, Mother’s Day balloons etc, however, if you’d like to order a balloon for an occasion like this, please get in touch as I will only be able to take a maximum of 5 orders per occasion (maybe less).

So, if you’ve got an occasion coming up, please drop me a DM. I take bookings up to 3 months in advance (a deposit will be required to secure your booking).

Just a reminder that I am now closed until further notice.
I have left teaching (after 12 years!) and soon will be starting a new job, which I need to focus on. I am not 100% sure about the future of Balloons at The Avenue, but once I know, I will update you all.

A huge thank you to those of you that have made me so busy. I never dreamt to be as busy as I have been. I opened Balloons at The Avenue with the intention of selling a few balloons to friends here and there, whilst learning the ropes in order to save myself money (as I love a balloon for every occasion!) However, this quickly escalated and I often turn away orders each week!

One of the main reasons I am not sure about the future of Balloons at The Avenue is, due to this not being my main job, it takes precious time away from my children.

I have made some wonderful friends in the balloon industry, some of which are local. Therefore, I am more than happy to recommend other balloon companies if you’d like me to.
