Another weekend is upon us, with not one, not two, but three parties at the Venture Centre!!!

This is a great venue for children’s parties, as our large hall has plenty of space for bouncy castles, discos and entertainers, alongside tables for that party tea!

Our caretakers will set up all the furniture, so you simply need to decorate and have fun.

A Scout group which helps teach youngsters invaluable life lessons has celebrated an important milestone.

At the weekend we celebrated the 75th anniversary of 1st Lawford Scout Group at the Venture Centre 2000, and what a celebration it was!

The Beavers, Cubs and Scouts ran some fabulous activities for members of the public to enjoy, including toasting schmores and mini sausages over a campfire!

The Fire Service and Police opened up their vehicles for children to explore, resulting in rather a lot of siren and flashing light fun, whilst the First Responders shared some of their equipment and even their uniforms.

With hot dogs, cakes and raffle prizes a plenty, the greatest thanks were given to all of those who have contributed to this amazing Group, from its formation right through to the present day.

We will be hosting a very exciting event on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th December here at the Venture Centre 2000, so if you give some spare time please do pop by!

We have teamed up with Gigaclear to raise money for 1st Lawford Scouts in a treasure hunt event. Hidden around the local area you will find life size astronauts! Your reward…. a delicious free pizza!

Entrance is £1 and all monies raised will be donated to the Scouts.

Hope you all are looking forward to the upcoming weekend?! I know I am! Fingers crossed the summer sun continues to shine for all of us!

Well everyone I wish to share a one off special event that has a special place in my heart! Which now is on the horizon!
I am excited to announce that I will be
“LIVE” on FRIDAY 5TH AUGUST at the ‘Venture Centre 2000 Lawford’ to give an Evening Of Mediumship in memory of my amazing late friend Nick, who sadly passed to the spirit world a couple months ago. The evening will also include further shamanic celebrations! All proceedings from this event will go to support Nick’s family.

This great spiritual event will give a select number of individuals in the audience the opportunity to have a reading with myself, and to experience evidential information with love, from loved ones in spirit. Which gives us all so much love, comfort, and inspiration.

Today’s Feature Friday is a big shout out for the Age Concern Friendship Group who meet at the centre on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month between 2:00-4:00.

This group has grown steadily over the months as people have heard about it. It a wonderful chance to socialise with others and enjoy some different activities. The community bus brings people to the centre making it even more accessible.

Please do share this wonderful group with anyone you think might be interested!

Feature Friday this week is about our Centre and it’s amazing facilities.
We are receiving so many bookings for parties…. From small birthday parties with entertainers and bouncy castles right through to 40th, 50th and 70th birthdays and anniversaries on a huge scale. We welcome them all!

Our bar and outdoor area add an extra element to the indoor spaces and our brilliant caretakers organise all the furniture for you, plus you get use of the kitchen as part of the booking!
