The three steps of Live Illustration 🎨💍✨

Ever wondered about how Live Illustration actually works? It really is very simple!!

✨Step 1: I begin by getting all set up at your venue (usually ready to being illustrating during the drinks reception). Your guests are then able to approach me for a photograph, they often want to know a bit more about what live illustration is at this point as it’s likely they will have never even seen it before!

✨Step 2: I get to work illustrating! Each illustration takes between 12-15 mins, varying based on the complexity of your guests outfits. Summery floral patterns and tartan always take a bit longer but they’re always so worth it!

✨Step 3: the exciting part! Once I’ve finished their illustration, your guests are more than welcome to pop back and take their illustration. They make the loveliest keepsakes and give your guests a hand-drawn memento to cherish for years to come🥰

Here is a lovely little illustration I completed recently. I love capturing a couples’ favourite moment from their big day, whether it’s live or post wedding 💒✨

This one was especially nice as it was commissioned as a gift by the best friend of the bride 🥹 you can’t get a much more personal gift than that (if I do say so myself 😂)
