Now that the Doddington Village Summer Show Committee have had a chance to rest their weary feet, we would like to send our sincere thanks and gratitude to all those who have helped to make the Doddington Village Summer Show and Doddington Silent Disco a huge success, without so many kind and generous people offering their services and support we couldn’t make the show happen.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
⛔️ Warning this is a long post but one that is definitely needed with soooo many people to thank!
🌻Firstly to our main sponsor Agrimech, thank you for your generous sponsorship and support on the day.
🌻Thank you also to all the local companies who brought advertising spaces in our Programme. Thank you also to many who have offered donations, we wouldn’t run the show without your generosity 💕
🌻Thank you to Middlemass Marqueesees and Doddington Pavilion & Recreation Field for supporting with a great venue.
🌻Thank you to Doddington Village Sports & Carnival for supplying the equipment for fencing and Christmas Lights Committee for supplying our marquee lights.
🌻We couldn’t have got through the day without our lovely refreshments and cakes from the Doddington WI and food from the 1st Doddington Scout Group, Wrapunzel, Antonino's Pizzeria and Franks Ices. Thank you for keeping us all well fed and watered. We had so many great comments about the yummy food!
🌻Thank you to the 1st Doddington Scout Group and Doddington Girl guides a for all the help you both offer from lending tables, setting up and helping the day run.
🌻 Thank you to our amazing attractions who offered their time and support to make the show a fun day. Thank you The Cambridge Dog Co for not only sponsoring the Dog Show but also organising and running the show. We have received many positive comments and it looked like lots of fun! Thank you to our amazing sponsors Shampoodle Dog Grooming - Chatteris, Fairy Dog Mothers, Fairytailz Doggy Parlour, Denzel's.
🌻Thank you to Parkfield Archers Wimblingtonon, the archery was so much fun and TO the Fenland Mallets for providing have a go sessions. Great to see people trying these local sports.
🌻 Thank you so much to our steam engine owners for bringing down your amazing steam engine lorry and all of the classic and modified car owners- I think we were all in awe 😃
🌻Thank you to David Edwards for providing the history of the show, Wow what a history!
🌻A huge thank you to our many stall holders who not only worked hard behind the scenes making so many handmade artisan products to bring to the show, but also the hard work and dedication on the day working with us to make the day a huge success. We have had so many compliments about your amazing stalls with people asking for your contact details. Thank you so much 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
🌻The biggest thank you to all of our incredibly talented adults and children who entered the produce and craft show! This part of the show has been going for 77 years! Thank you for your hard work and talents in keeping this historic event alive! I am sure you will all agree they are so talented, from crafts to arts, baking, growing, so much dedication and hard work. Hats off to you all💕

🌻 A simply WOW WOW WOW to our hugely talents performers, Future Stars, Bradley, Harrison, Isabelle, Gracie , Ciaran Brennan from 20TwentyProductions CIC and the RKA Kickboxing Academy. You all have so such talent and made the day. So many compliments!
🌻 Thank you to The Three Tuns for advertising our event and selling raffle tickets. Thank you to the Methodist Church and Lionel Walden Primary School for also advertising our event. Thank you to Doddington's Doings and Doddington Diary for advertising our event.
🌻Thank you to our hard working committee, Hilton Lee Fisher, Mark Rust, Leanne Jane , Mark Crane, Caroline Underwood , Ruth Hopkins, David Hopkins, Mike Wakeman, Jo Mears, Clare King and the late Roger Mears. We are a small but mighty committee. Thank you Caroline Underwood and family for supplying the hay bales, advertising the event and all your support over the weekend moving tables, chairs, bales and setting up. We could not of achieved all this without all of your help. Thank you also to our committee members family and friends Stacey Jones, Sue Laver , Ruth Hufton and Natasha. A huge thank you to Lois Hopkins and Laura and Emma from March Town Cricket Club, we appreciate all your support on the day and selling the raffle tickets. And to many more who have helped out throughout the weekend, this show couldn’t happen without all your support and it is so appreciated. 💕

🌻Thank you to the Silent Disco Company to providing the equipment. It was a huge success, smiles and laughter from the minute everyone walked in- think we might have some talented singers there! It was huge success! Thank you Finchys for keeping us all fed, loved the chips and gravy!
