The iconic Boodles May Festival opened yesterday at Chester Racecourse. The first of a series of exciting catering events for us at Chester this year.

We have a new BBQ kiosk purpose designed and built for the venue and some fantastic guest traders alongside us too. This is serving racegoers with some of their amazing woodfired pizzas!

We’ve got some really exciting news to share with you! Chester Racecourse are partnering with us as their new concessions partner, supporting racedays and major events.

We were selected due to our high-quality, sustainable food offering which supports their drive towards food with provenance through sourcing from British suppliers.
There are some great dates in the diary which we’re really looking forward to!

The Grand National Aintree 2024 is now over. It’s been an absolutely amazing three days. So many attendees (152,000!!!), the venue was buzzing and alive with excitement.

We’ve had a fantastic team working across our food and drinks courts and kiosks who help make it all come together. With a team working directly for us and our guest traders who complete the team we’d like to thank you all for your dedication.

Fordhall Farm Events are proud to provide food with authenticity and transparency. In fact, it’s a critical part of our ethos.

We provide high-quality sustainable food to events across the country – including at The Grand National this week.

We rear our own cattle, pigs and sheep at Fordhall Farm, with no use of pesticides, genetically modified foods or growth hormones on the farm. To complete our offering, we work with a network of British and local suppliers and producers to provide food with provenance.

Fordhall Farm Events are committed to the push towards sustainable sourcing – and will continue that approach when providing the catering at The Grand National this week.

For example:
• All our coffee cups are line with a water-based lining making them compostable and commercially re-pulpable.
• We recycle all our waste oil. It’s converted into biodiesel for use in transport vehicles across the country.

It’s great to be collaborating with the Jockey Club again. We’re delighted to expand our offering at the Grand National this year, even launching our Salt and Pepper sausage rolls; handmade in our bakery especially for Aintree racegoers!

We’ll be bringing a range of high-quality goods from our farm, including grass-fed burgers and free-range hog roast, along with loaded fries and a range of drinks.

The three-day Grand National Festival 2024 runs 11th-13th April and will host in excess of 152,000 spectators! We can’t wait!

What a beautiful day! We’re at Shrewsbury Flower Show and the sun is shining. To make it the perfect day we’ve just had a spot inspection from the Food Standards Agency and have been re-certified with a Food Hygiene Rating of FIVE stars again! The Fordhall team are on fire!🔥

We’re so proud of the team back on the farm. So, so proud! 😊 The Times have published a list of “7 of the finest farm shops” and Fordhall Farm is listed! These are the guys who prepare all our meat and sausage rolls in the butchery and bakery for Fordhall Farm Events as well as for their own farm shop. To be recognised and named by The Times is just phenomenal. Sunday was a Family Race Day at Chester Races, so we were delighted when themummythateats joined us with her family to sample our food.
