A message from the hall committee.

Our heating is currently not working but we are working hard to get this fixed.

We are asking all our regular and adhoc hirers to please bear with us whilst we resolve the issue.

We have commissioned decorators to come in and refresh the hall starting Monday 31st March. This will take place within quiet times at the hall so not to disrupt our regular hirers but please note that there may be a slight smell and wet paint during this time, albeit the paint being used is water based so takes less time to dry and does not hold a strong smell.

A polite notice from the memorial hall committee.
The car park at Ashley Memorial Hall is private land and not for public parking. We often have events and regular bookings where the car park needs to be clear or it creates issues with parking for the people that have booked it.
If you do wish to use the car park for any reason please contact us prior to using.

Tania and Ashley Art Group (AAG) have a very exciting project that they have taken part in and it is all to come together in an art exhibition at Festival Drayton Centre but also as a backdrop on stage to our visiting concert pianist Nikita Lukinov as he plays Modest Mussorgsky’s ‘Pictures at an Exhibition’.



The performance and collaborative arts extravaganza is on Sunday 3rd February at the Festival Drayton Centre at 3pm.

The art work will only be in the art gallery from Saturday afternoon to Sunday evening.

We hope you’ll supper the group and visit this super event celebrating music and our local artists.

Huge thanks as usual to the committee, working hard to keep the finances balanced and the doors open.

On 27th November 2024 we held our Annual General Meeting at Ashley Memorial Hall. All elected committee members stood down and then were duly re-elected into the committee for a further 12 months. Sadly, we didn't see many residents at the meeting this year; however, we have gained 2 new members so....

This is currently parking on our carpark and we have an event today. Please can this be moved ASAP.

This is not a public carpark it is private land and should not be used unless attending an event at the hall or have sought advanced permission.

We’re on the look out for new volunteers to join our committee! Our community facility is very busy and our team do an excellent job keeping the doors open!
We have a great team of people all giving varying support but we’re always looking for more helping hands. If you’re interested, please get in touch. [email protected]

Ideally someone who would be interested in supporting with bookings, secretarial work and grant applications. We have someone that does this already but it would help lighten the load.
