What can we say?

What an AMAZING time we had last weekend at the NCC Venue Group FAM trip!

Right from our warm welcome on Friday afternoon and stunning rooms with a view, right through to fabulous food and drinks in Windmill Village Hotel, Golf Club & Spa, Vaults 🍴 🥂 🍸

Excellent hospitality at Utilita Arena Birmingham on showdeck watching the fabulous Olly Murs and then Take That! 😍

The fun didn't stop there! 🙌

On Saturday we had a tour of Manor Hotel Meridan and then final destination The National Conference Center based at National Motorcycle Museum.

Thank you doesn't seem a strong enough word, what fabulous venues, great company and a fantastic experience me and Karen Edwards had the BEST time!

It's not often we recognise and celebrate our successes.

Today we have looked back at our first quarter of 2024 and there is a lot to celebrate 🎊

So, here's a snippet for you to see;

✔ Thousands of venues searched for and hundreds of site visits achieved
✔ Hundreds of venues secured for 2024 and 2025!
✔ Hundreds of sought-after events secured
✔ Hundreds of event support requirements booked and finalised

✔ Our brand new Events Website launched and work is underway for our brand new main website and hospitality site (keep your eyes peeled!) 👀

The Sheer Edge team are definitely cooking on gas. Every. Single. Day.

Today its time to meet Gino, another valued member of the Sheer Edge team.

We've been working with Gino now for over 4 years.

Gino is in our opinion the BEST in the business when it comes to event production irrespective of whether that is hosting virtual conferences or getting stuck into the physical event production;

From the creation of the all important event layouts, marking out on site,
set up and build of events to running teams behind the scenes (it is probably why we struggle to get pictures of him!) 😉

Today its time to meet Lisa 👋

Lisa works tirelessly on venue searches, from small meetings, team engagement, leadership retreats, conferences, awards ceremonies and so much more.

Not only is Lisa a talented venue finder, she is also a brilliant Event Manager and has supported many Sheer Edge clients with pre-event, live event and post event support.

Finally, Lisa has a great talent for writing too, she is Chief Sub-Editor of our very own hospitality and events publication

She is busily working away on our second issue as we speak.

Lisa is a mother of two young children, is Vice Chair of their schools PTA and loves visiting new and existing venues.

We are in awe where she fits it all in! But we are so glad she is part of our team, thanks for all you do Lis!

Bhu has been working with us for over a year and we wonder how we ever coped without her!

Bhu handles multi-site, meetings, hospitality and event enquiries for us.

She regularly manages our clients' virtual event requirements from promotion, right through to the delivery, as well as sharing her invaluable marketing expertise.

Bhu really enjoys creating experiences for our clients and thrives on new challenges.

Based in the Midlands, she has two teenage children and in her spare time she enjoys all the good experiences in life and the people the universe brings to her.

Based in the Midlands, Jemma has two children a one year old and a six year old, in her spare time she enjoys seeing live music, running, eating out and sleeping!

Her favourite music: Is an eclectic mix! Anything from Oasis to Frank Sinatra with a bit of everything in between! Currently loving The Lathums 🎶
