At this year's Arts Fresco on Sat 7 Sept, watch out for Felicity Footloose in the Market Harborough square as she juggles, dances and performs daredevil acrobatics to try and impress her hero, Johnny. She’ll even go as far as to hang from her toes and juggle knives whilst upside down.

This is a fun 35 minute street show wrapped up in a comedy package and set to a fabulous 80s sound track​.

This year, due to an unsuccessful national funding bid, and despite the generosity of the existing sponsors and organisers’ best efforts to raise additional funds, Arts Fresco has failed to raise sufficient funds to deliver the Festival that the organisers would like.

Consequently, the Festival organisers have made the difficult decision to run a much-reduced festival ‘Arts Fresco Lite’ on 7 September as a fundraiser to support future Arts Fresco events.

Is your event up to scratch? Have you been fully health and safety verified? These pompous police will patrol your event and make sure everything is ship shape. If not you better watch out !

Whatever you are doing ‘Stop It Now!’. PC Gone Mad are here to put an end to fun, laughter and smiling. These trouser less, pompous public servants will patrol, police and prosecute at every possibility. So watch out!

We're so excited! Just one more sleep until Arts Fresco returns to Market Harborough on Sunday to showcase some of the best street theatre performers in the UK and Europe.

Performances will include silver topped and silver tongued domestic goddesses from the golden days; breath-taking balancing, twinkling tap dance and comical contortions; living lamp posts; Phileas Fogg and his valet Passepartout; chaotic cabaret, highly skilled circus trickery, improvisation and comedy routines; Ugly Bugs with giant games, bouncy bug races, a Flea Circus and amazing shows; extra terrestrial tourists; and hula hooping comedy shows.

Come along, bring your friends and family, and enjoy all of these fantastic performances!

This Saturday (9/9), ahead of Arts Fresco on Sunday, the Un-Naturalists will be presenting a ‘hysterical history tour’ of Market Harborough. This group of performers, dressed as Victorian Explorers, will promenade around the town as ‘tour guides’, recounting the history of the town in an engaging and amusing fashion.

Three tours, free to the public, will start at 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm from the Old Grammar School, ending at the Symington building and the heritage event there.

Watch out for this one at Arts Fresco on 10 September!

Carlos Airhead, with a volunteer, uses a voice-activated vacuum cleaner to inflate a six-foot balloon. Then to the crowd's disbelief, wearing only brightly coloured lycra shorts and choreographed to music, Carlos slides his toned Spanish physique completely inside the balloon. First his head, then his torso until finally the last leg slowly disappears from sight. Once inside, Carlos dances the balloon to a fast-changing sequence of music. The crowd erupts with hilarity!

Arts Fresco will be loaded with hoops, hoops and more hoops! Everything you ever wanted and never needed to know about hula hooping will be in Market Harborough on 10 September.

From death defying stunt hooping to the straight out weird and wonderful world of mini hoop madness, a little bit of magic and the dazzling glitz of circus hula hoops to the jaw dropping giant 6ft hoop leading all the way up to the multi hooping, confetti exploding, human tower of uncertainty! Angie Mack's hooptastic, interactive comedy show is jam packed with highly skilled hula hoop tricks, iconic music and a whole lot of heart.
