High on a hill on a farm in The New Forest Katie and Doug said their I Do's with a beautiful hand-tying ceremony, plenty of laughter and sky full of sunshine. I have known the bride since she was a bump and it was the best feeling to see her marry her handsome, funny chap. Congratulations to the most romantic and funny couple I have worked with to date. ❤

Sometimes, the most apt and atmospheric ceremonies have an element of surprise for everyone. D&R were supposed to have their wedding in a cornfield with the Wolds as their backdrop, but the rain had other ideas. Thanks to the amazing team at The Granary, at Owmby, everything was swiftly moved inside the grain barn and the rustic charm created was absolutely perfect. This couple are all about country pursuits and farming, so having a background of grain at their wedding was magical.

It was my absolute privilege and joy to unite these two on their wedding day in Biscathorpe Park. These photos not only show a couple exchanging their vows on their wedding day, they show my little boy Jack Darlington blissfully in love with his bride Holly Darlington watched over by his twin brother and my delicious granddaughter Tigerlily. Not even a little rain could dampen the spirits of guests at today's wedding of N&J. The gardens at were the perfect backdrop for the ceremony. This is no.2 wedding for me this week, no.3 is on Saturday. I shall be having a little lie down on Sunday 😁
