A special event coming to our lovely hall...

So, very excited to be teaming up with Yoga with Rama again, to deliver another Shiva Shakti Day. Our last event at the end of Summer was out side and a beautiful experience. Many of you asked for another date. So here we go. At the beautiful Nettleton Village Hall, Nettleton nr Market Rasen.

Sunday 30th November 11am-4pm Shiva Shakti Day (click here)

Taking place at Nettleton Hall, a beautiful and warm space just north of Market Rasen. The day will include awareness's and practices all around the Masculine and Feminine energies that exist in every one of us.

There will be 2 Yoga sessions, 1 for the Masculine and one for the feminine. A shared lunch of Indian Dahl and Salad. A Chanting session using Om and Familiar Mantras. Ending with a Kirtan session for both energies.

This day is designed to bring balance to both the energies inside us to find Inner Union.

Lunch of Dahl and Salad will be provided plus hot drinks and some sweet treats for after too.

You will need to bring any yoga or meditation equipment you have, or please ask to borrow some.
“This day will help you to understand on a deeper level how these energies are not in opposition but rather complementary, creating a dynamic interplay. Our day together will provide you with tools and practices to help bring equilibrium to the forces of the masculine & feminine sides of our nature. As a small group we will be guided through meditative practices including yoga, contemplation, deep relaxation, song and chant, and there will be space to share and move into the state of ‘Be’ing rather than ‘Do’ing”.

Bring your friends, test your knowledge, and enjoy an evening of laughter, friendly competition, and community spirit—all while supporting a great cause.

Teams of up to six are welcome, and if you’d like to join a team, let us know—we’ll do our best to match you up.

Doors open at 6pm, with the quiz starting at 7pm. Tickets are just £5 per person, including light refreshments—but they must be booked in advance.

There will be prizes for the winners, a raffle and a bar so you can buy a variety of alcoholic and soft drinks throughout the evening.

We'd like to say a HUGE thank you to those of you who came and supported the Holiday Club Panto last weekend.

And to all the cast and volunteer helpers for their hours of dedication towards putting on such a great weekend of performances.

And the biggest thanks of all must go to Lauret, Geoff and team, for giving up their whole summer to make it all happen.

Nettleton is extremely lucky to have such dedicated individuals working so hard to bring the community together, through such fun and creative events and experiences. And all whilst raising much needed funds for our village hall.

Lauret and Geoff, we really cannot thank you enough.

NO BINGO UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!!

There will be no village hall bingo night tomorrow or the foreseeable future.

Our Monday bingo night has been a popular event attracting many regular local residents from Nettleton and Caistor and beyond. And it has raised a huge amount of funds for the village church and chapel.

It's success over several years now has been down to the huge effort and commitment of organisers John and Doris Connolly. However the time has come for them to take a well earned break and call it a day.

They would really like to talk to anyone interested in taking over and continuing to keep such a popular fundraising event going. There may be the chance for John to continue to do the bingo calling every month, but at this point they really need to speak to anyone who might be able to take over the monthly organisation including the gathering of prizes etc.

Join us later this week for the Nettleton Village Hall Kids Club’s Summer Pantomime – 7 Toys for 7 Princesses!

A fun-filled show for all the family, packed with laughter, music, and pantomime magic. The bar will be open, and don’t miss our huge raffle with loads of fantastic prizes to be won!

Please come show your support for all our amazing kids. They have worked really hard all summer holidays to put on a fantastic show, just for you.
