Bye bye 🍯 Cottage, hello Myrtle Cottage.
Really looking forward to starting a new chapter in this beautiful place. It needs some TLC but we’re up for the challenge.
I’ve got about 40,000 📦 to unpack however but I’m distracting myself by planning where I’m going to put the 🎄 . This cottage has serious Christmas vibes so I can’t wait 🤍.Happy Saturday.

Walls look greyer on a dull day which is fitting. I’ve also realised when I chose the new colour, I didn’t account for the furniture sticking out like a sore thumb with its stoney shades vs. the grey...whoops. Think I’ll order a throw for the sofa as I can’t convince Bryan to get a new one! Shame I can’t paint it...surprised I haven’t tried.
I did paint (shock) the frames above the sofa to match the walls and replaced the mounts. Wasn’t sure it would work but looks ok so they can stay, for now.

Changed the frames above the fireplace to match the new paint colour. I think I prefer the old frames but I am not about to confess that after hanging these. Wow, they took so long to get straight for some reason. Bryan was super impressed as you can imagine and then said ‘what was the point of this just to change the frames’. I kind of agree but can’t let on because I’ll never here the end of it! I’ve sanded the beam too on the quiet too 🤫. I was forbidden to but did it anyway. He’s not even noticed! Knew he wouldn’t. I’m going to try and get it lighter when he’s out next 😂. I’m a nightmare - when I get an idea in my head, I can’t not see it through.

These frames have been sitting under my bed for years so I’ve dragged them out, painted them up printed some nice oil landscapes to go in them. The bathroom has been crying out for some wall art so I’ve finally got round to it.
I think I own approx. 1200 picture mounts too so I doubled some, painted them the same colour as the frame to match. This has cost me about zero so I’m happy with that, as is Bryan! Well, I’m not fibbing about this little project, put it that way!
Can’t believe this bathroom is nearly 3 years old already and I’ve only just got round to this. @ Wiltshire

My 4 legged bestie left the world today. Devastated but content in the fact she had 15 amazing years and was the most loved dog I know. She had free reign and pretty much everything she could ever want. RIP my furry friend. Love you always. You were the best company.

I never temper to do before and after but I did on the living room refresh this time! Enjoying the new space even if it is the old space deep down! A change is as good as a rest and all that. Along with my cushion and picture frame (made a good dent this weekend I. Using some up!) fe**sh, I’ve now developed a lamp one. Bryan’s still asking me where the old one is going and I just keep saying ‘I’m working on it, don’t worry, I have a plan’. I don’t have a plan, I’m just ridiculously impulsive and obsessed with all things and .uk @ Wiltshire

FINALLY framed my £1.50 charity shop bargain. The original frame broke so I bought a new one. Then, guess what...I painted it.
Having a weekend off painting and hanging so pics today. The house is feeling like a new space in places which is nice. @ Wiltshire

This will go down as one of my favourite memories whilst in lockdown. Planting sweet peas.
Farrah was in her element and it was so sweet watching how natural she was at it.
We’ve had lots of shoots and this is all credit to Farrah as she’s watered them twice a day since planting. Bless her. @ Wiltshire

Lockdown treats just for me!! It’s a habit I didn’t want to get into but I’m hooked. Plus, I’m over buying paint and frog tape.
I’m seriously hooked. I even had a re-jig in the bathroom this morning to make them a new home. Little things...
candle smells incredible too - It’s been sat on display for a year waiting for a special occasion. It would appear lockdown is that special occasion.

My favourite things all in one bowl. Lovely. However, this isn’t for me. Farrah requested this for lunch and as I’m so bored watching Bryan paint, I went into Chef mode (whatever gets your through!). And after all that effort, Farrah smashed it up, in seconds. @ Wiltshire

Just admiring before the rain destroys the beautiful flowers and scent. Smells so amazing. Just enjoying the last hours of sun, heaven. We were supposed to be in Cornwall this weekend. We’d have timed that to perfection if we’d have been able to go, nevermind. Just read we have weeks of rain to look forward too, great!

More painting today. What is wrong with me!
Our Bedroom needs a freshen up. I use the word ‘needs’ loosely as it probably doesn’t!
Just painted my tapas table (from )- it was sat there winking at me so it was fair game. I love it.
I’ll be dressing it later for a bit of garden tapas.
It’s made from a scaffolding board, you’d never know.
