EVENTS ADMINISTRATOR
We are a busy full service events and venue finding agency based in Marlow, working across multiple sectors including retail, IT communications and business telecommunications, delivering creative conferences and bespoke solutions to clients across the UK. We are now looking for administrative support across our business.

We are currently a team of 3 and share our office with our sister production company, so you will be working as part of a close-knit team giving you a great opportunity to be involved in every aspect of our business.

THE ROLE
This full time role will be supporting both directors in every aspect of the company, your responsibilities will include:
*Compiling venue documentation and proposals for clients
*Managing appropriate confirmation documentations to all third party suppliers and delegates
*Book travel as needed for events and site visits
*Compiling and binding of event books pre-event
*Create and manage supplier and client database
*Coordinating complex schedules & rooming information
*Organising and keeping up to date PA kit for onsite
*Managing office and stationery supplies
*Screen incoming calls and greet visitors
*Manage the post and file as needed
*Make tea/coffee for team and visitors as needed

THE CANDIDATE
In order to be considered for this role, you must be efficient in the use of Excel and PowerPoint with good communication and customer service skills, allowing you to confidently deal with clients and queries. Attention to detail and the ability to self motivate is a must! Whilst this role is office based there may be occasions when you are required to go onsite to support at events! This may suit a parent returning to work as school hours and some flexibility around term holidays would be considered. We are a fun company with a relaxed approach and are looking for someone to compliment our team!

We understand that the difficulties of the pandemic has really set our industry back providing us all with a difficult path to navigate.
have really navigated this path well by using the time invest in their venues to make them ready to hit the ground running as soon as they are able.
With renovations to not just one, or two but nine of their collection as well as new inspired meeting packages featuring Alexa smart speakers, meeting room mini bars, innovative dining concepts and even a mini golf putter to help keep those minds active during long days they really have thought of it all.
We were so impressed after the meeting with our sales rep and have every confidence that delegates and clients will be well looked after at any of their 19 venues!

Today we are talking about something very close to our hearts.
At the end of last year we lost our dear friend Mark James to Pancreatic Cancer.
In true event industry style Mark was not just the Director of our sister company he was also the loving husband of Suzanne James, one of our fabulous directors.
Mark was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer in February last year purely by accident and only 8 months later he lost his battle with the disease.
To help raise funds and awareness of Pancreatic Cancer, Suzanne and her two children Oliver and Abbie are jogging, walking and cycling 28 miles in February.
They have already raised an amazing amount of money, the contributions so far have added 45 whole days of research totalling over £4,500 but we don't want to stop there.
Any donations, large or small can make all the difference, it would not only mean the world to Suzanne and her family but it would make all the difference in fighting this truly awful disease. Link in bio if you would like to donate. 💜

This week we have been celebrating the life of , the man and magic behind our sister company . Mark very sadly lost his battle with cancer on Sunday 29th November 2020.
He was not only a colleague but a friend to so many in our industry, touching the lives of everyone who had the pleasure to work with him.
His kind and generous nature meant that he put everyone at ease and was always willing to go above and beyond to make an event truly memorable.
He is the only man we know where so many people would dedicate their time and energy into a full hour and a half drive in tribute, complete with readings and memories form Richard Hammond, Tom Kerridge and Chris Evans as well as too many family and friends to count! Finishing the evening with a rock and roll medley from our absolute favourite band .
Our wonderful agency wouldn’t exist without Mark as he introduced and encouraged our two directors to join forces and start up on their own. Boy are we glad he did!
Mark, you will be missed more that you can imagine, we are so grateful to have been a part of your short but well lived life.
All our thoughts are with Mark’s loving family.
Our industry has lost a true legend 🎸🤘🏼🎧

Over the weekend we brightened up a rather rainy Sunday afternoon by visiting the gorgeous Distillery.
Set in the beautiful Hampshire countryside. ⠀
A stunning venue overflowing with history, offers not only bright and spacious event spaces but also bespoke experiences perfect for incentives, corporate bookings and not to mention ideal for the current rule of six. ⠀
We took an informative tour equipped with facemasks and branded brolly's to learn all about the Premium Gin which would not of been complete without a taste test (or three)!⠀
Our tour concluded with an hour long mixology class where we learnt how to create not one but two flavourful cocktails, sampled Leggero Martini and discovered our favourite high and low notes of ⠀
A fabulous day all round day out with options to personalise it to your requirements.

It was an amazing feeling last week being on an event with our incredible clients and amazing crew! ⠀
Regardless of what is going on in the world right now, businesses have important messages they need to communicate to their employees and virtual conference is the best and safest way to accomplish that!⠀
This conference would have ordinarily been a 1600 delegate, full day conference with exhibition and gala dinner and what is usually a 20 hour day for our team. ⠀
It’s safe to say that virtual does not create the same buzz as a live event however it does allow for key messages to be portrayed and the opportunity to connect with a wider audience.

It’s time to refocus our energy and get organised after the summer. Children go back to school, the days are shorter and although we are still bound to have some warmer days, Autumn is well on its way.

September usually keeps us on our toes! We would be gearing up for our largest annual conferences and lining up all final details of the event. This year of course we will be doing it differently and we are more than ready to jump in head first!

It’s a season for change and we have everything crossed that it will be heading in the right direction!

Anyone care to tell us where August went?

It’s amazing how time is flying but but it’s safe to say we are desperately missing live events and more than ready to get back to it!

This gorgeous table layout courtesy of is from an annual summer event that we adore being a part of.

This particular event had so many elements, themed syndicates, coaching delegates in and out, luggage drops, group check in, team building, goodie bag room drops, entertainment and masses of theming (to name a few)

It was amazing to watch it all come together and see the delegates continually ‘wowed’ by each element of the event.

Without wishing more time away we are looking forward to the 1st October to see what Boris has in store for live events!

The last few months have been tough for everyone and understandably it can all get a little overwhelming.

It’s totally okay to feel that way and believe it when we say you are not alone. We’re not here to suggest all the things that could be done to make yourself feel better because sometimes that can make it all worse.

This week is a good week... not only do we have a wonderful site visit this morning at Gerrars Cross. But we also have yet another on Thursday in Brighton.

Who would of thought something so normal for us would be so exciting but 2 site visits in 1 week really does make us happy.

This lovely hotel has so much to give. It has wonderful facilities including a gym, spa, restaurant and 7 bright spacious meeting spaces with plenty of parking for your delegates.

A good choice for any event and we are excited for our lovely client to go exploring today.
