Chloe asked me for a flower crown a few months ago and it was just perfect for their wedding style and setting

Don’t get me wrong, your bridal bouquet is going to be the most wonderful bouquet you’ll ever have and hold, but you will put it down at some point. A flower crown though, as you can see through these photos, you can enjoy ALL day! From the getting ready, through the ceremony, mingling with guests, enjoying your wedding breakfast, followed by shenanigans on the dance floor 💃🏻

I loved seeing Chloe’s flower crown pop up all through her wedding album by and I know she’s kept it and dried it 🥰

HELLO!
I’m back to work after a very restful break over Christmas and the New Year visiting family in Canada and creating some wonderful memories with my boys.

Now very much excited for the year ahead and all the flowery creativity it’s going to bring. If 2025 is half as wonderful as 2024 was, I’m in for a treat 💕

My Christmas Wreath Making season is almost coming to an end…

Last little workshop tonight which will bring me to a total of nine workshops and 139 wreath makers in 12 days. Hence why I’ve not had much time to post on here lately.

I’ve also been making a few Christmas wreaths myself for some lovely customers, like this beaut which Alice came to collect yesterday.

Andrea + Thomas: a subtle Christmas vibe for their wedding florals on Monday.

And I love this colour palette which blended in nicely with the Hotel’s Christmas decorations. Black Bacarra, Cafe Latte and Quicksand roses worked brilliantly together, along with Maroon spray roses, Astilbe, Eryngium, Anemone, Scabiosa, Astrantia, Skimmia, Vibernum, Scenecio and Eucalyptus. Just lovely for this time of year!

Fab workshop last night with Friends of Great Marlow School making Christmas Wreaths! So many gorgeous creations and all of them totally different, which I LOVE!

This weekend, Danesfield Gardens Nursery, where I have my workshop, are having a ❄️ Winter Open Weekend ❄️

I’m going to be making lots of Christmas Wreaths this week ready to buy at this event. But if you’d like to pre-order something ready for collection please do let me know. And if I happen to sell out, you’ll be able to place an order and enjoy free local delivery.

If you’re unable to make this weekend, but would like to order a Christmas Wreath or Table Arrangement, do get in touch.

But, Danesfield Gardens Nursery are local family run business of over 60 years, and this is their first time running an event like this so please do try and pop by and support them. Enjoy a mince pie and mulled wine while you’re there!

Happy 1st Anniversary to my gorgeous cousin Julie and her hubby, Gary. This was such a beautiful day and celebration with family and friends last year and obviously loved making all their wedding flowers 🥰

Have you booked your Christmas Wreath Making workshop yet?

With just a month to go until my wreath making season kicks off, you’ll be pleased to know I do have a few spaces still available on my workshops and they promise to be a truly festive treat.

Dates for this year’s Christmas Wreath Workshops are:
Friday 6th December, 12:30 - 15:30 - FULLY BOOKED
Saturday 7th December, 10:00 - 13:00
Sunday 8th December, 10:00 - 13:00

With my guidance, you’ll create your very own wreath using lots of seasonal foliage, a variety of fresh and dried ingredients and festive embellishments. My workshops are always suitable for beginners and even those who feel they’re ’not very creative’.

A glass of Oaken Grove’s sparkling wine, as well as their very own mulled wine and a mince pie or two is included in the ticket price of £75 per person.

I really do hope to see some familiar faces again this year (this is my 5th year at Oaken Grove!) and it would be lovely to see some new ones too!

Sarah + Duncan: last month I had the pleasure of providing the flowers for their wedding .

Sarah has been to my wreath workshops for a few years now so I was chuffed to bits when she called to say she needed a wedding florist 🥰🥂

They had planned an intimate wedding ceremony and dinner in The Bo***ir room (the former sitting room of Lady Astor), it was a beautiful day and the room had stunning views out over the lawn. We worked with the colours of the room and Sarah had set her heart on blues, whites and soft yellows. We had some amazing Verena Blue Hydrangeas; Buttercup, Avalance and Bridal Flow roses; Matthiola, Tanacetum, Oxypetalum and Eustoma 💛🤍🩵

We made sure everything for the ceremony could then be used to decorate their large dining table and I did my best to ensure it was going to last for their party at home two days later, which all seemed to work perfectly.

It’s almost their one month anniversary 🥂 congratulations Sarah and Duncan! I know we’ll keep in touch as you literally live round the corner 😉 and I look forward to seeing you for wreath making very soon! X

Have you seen in the news that Old Marylebone Town Hall are celebrating 100 years of weddings today 💕🥳

Many couples (famous and not so famous) have stepped out on to these iconic steps as newly weds, including Kayla + Jacob, my lovely clients from 2023.

They got married on 14th October (I remember it well as my husband and I celebrated our 17th anniversary the very same day), so they are about to celebrate their 1st wedding anniversary 🥂

It was a treat for me to deliver their bridal bouquets to The Landmark Hotel across the road, and set up their wedding reception . And I was so grateful for their kind 5 ⭐️ review which said “From the moment we first spoke, you truly cared about bringing our vision to life and suggesting the most beautiful flowers!” They asked for lots of blush and n**e flowers so the White O’hara and Shades of Beige roses were perfect as well as some luxurious phalaenopsis orchids!

Kayla + Jacob, congratulations on your upcoming anniversary. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to have one of my bridal bouquets pictured outside this stunning and very special building.

And congratulations to the 100 couples getting married there today - at the time of writing, 46 weddings down and 54 to go. You can follow live on the BBC 😄

I loved creating this bridal bouquet for Becky… big, bold and blooming fabulous 🩷💛❤️🧡

We had Coral Charm and Karl Rosenfield peonies in there; Country Blues, Romantic Antike and Bellini roses in there; Kiejsers Coral spray roses, Francesca Matthiola, Sweet Peas, Red Velvet Scabiosa, Celosia, oh and Antica Eustoma!

Loved the colours. Loved the textures. And loved all the images that Alistair managed to take of it 😍🤩 thank you!

At Katy + Duncan’s wedding a couple of weeks ago, we had lined the aisle in the church with ten little meadows. It was a lovely wide and long aisle so they were ideal.

Yes, that can get pretty expensive but we made sure to find really good homes for all of them back at their marquee wedding reception - they worked perfectly at the ends of their long dining tables, they decorated the central bar and we had a few in front of the stage.

They then went on to decorate the groom’s family home for a gathering the next day which also makes me happy.
