WOW! We are once again blown away by the support this year🎉

We just got confirmation that our street collection raised a total of ÂŁ3308.11! With our Facebook Fundraiser donations of ÂŁ572 too, we have raised a total of ÂŁ3,880.11!!!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who made our incredible day possible:

✨ The incredible marshalls and bucket collectors, keeping everything running smoothly.

Time to announce the worthy winners of the 2025 Matlock Raft Event!!! As chosen by our very own Mayor of Matlock, Councillor Marilyn Franks!

⏰ Event Timings ⏰

Following the success of last year, the rafts will once again hit the water at 11:00am, and that’s when the fun really begins!

The timings shown here are APPROXIMATE! Once the rafts are on the river, timings can (and do!) vary depending on river flow, conditions, and the occasional unexpected obstacle. That’s all part of the adventure, so we’d always recommend arriving a little earlier to make sure you don’t miss a thing.
It’s always worth the wait!

🌊 Important Reminder! 🕚

Following the success of last year, this year’s event will again start at 11:00 AM.

Once the rafts have set off, the timings always vary based on how fast the river is flowing, if there’s any obstacles along the route etc, so we’d recommend getting there slightly earlier just in case, it’s always worth the wait!

Approximate timings:
8am: Rafters arrive at Cawdor Quarry, register for the event and make final preparations.
11am: The rafts set off on their journey down the Derwent.
~11:30am: The rafts arrive at Hall Leys Park in Matlock.
~12:30pm: The rafts arrive at Derwent Gardens in Matlock Bath.
~1pm: The rafts arrive at the finish line at Cromford Meadows in Cromford.
2pm: The ceremony takes place at The Fishpond in Matlock Bath to announce the winner of this years raft event!
