Just wanted to give a shout to over at Stargate Cosplay Fans.

He's the one who has passionately edited and uploaded cosplay photographs of Stargate cosplayers.

Stargate remains one of my favourite fandoms and it's people like him which make it fun and friendly.

While our show may have been off air longer than it was on, it isn't off air in our hearts. And with shows like Quantum Leap and 4400 getting new series, maybe it's not totally outrageous that SG-1 will too.

After Doctor Who, Aliens (and to a lesser extent Alien) is about the most influential IP on my younger self.
I first watched Aliens when I was about 10 or 11 and I was absolutely fascinated by it. I stopped counting how many times I had seen it when I got to 58 and that was in the 90s (I actually wore out one copy of the VHS version through over use).
I'm now in my (cough) mid-40s, so to say I have been waiting a long time to get my hands on one of these is an understatement.
Unfortunately, it will have to be stored away as I am in the middle of trying to sort my house out for a sale. But one day I will paint it up and obtain a display case for it.
