A Rustic Chic Wedding at a Scottish Castle✨

Emi and Ian dreamed of a destination wedding but wanted something different from a typical beach setting. They chose Dunskey Estate, a Scottish castle that looks straight out of a fairytale. After all, who could resist a castle? The venue’s grandeur is truly magical. The Scottish summer blessed their celebration with beautiful sunsets, sunny beach days, and fantastic misty mornings.

Their planners at brought every desire to life. The entire wedding weekend was charming—from the thoughtful welcome packages and beautiful floristry on the first day to the cozy ceremony by the loch, the modern and earthy reception, and a fun farewell brunch packed with activities.

A tiny glimpse into a week.
I am not sure what to say about yesterday, as we are still feeling drained after a truly emotional week.
We said goodbye to not only a friend, but a true shining light in the flower growing community in Scotland. It was a tough commission to create her final flowers, but I was carried gently and compassionately by the wonderful growers and the truly beautiful flowers that you filled our workshop with.
Thank you, all of you.

Myrtle & Bracken offer a bespoke service for weddings and events as we thrive on creating unique, tailor-made creations. We are a studio based florist, so work purely on your event with no distractions. Our design process ensures that your flowers will capture the essence of your vision mixed with our unmistakable style. We work only with seasonal flowers and prefer to use Scottish and British grown flowers when we can. Foraging is also an integral part of our practise. Our aim is to capture the essance of a botanical moment in time, that will only ever align itself and present itself to us at the time of your event.
