It has been over 2 years since I showed my face around these squares, so I thought it was about time I showed up for work :)

Winter prep is in full flow in the workshop, I am not usually one for going for it so early but I feel this year has had a little too much darkness and I am feeling the pull towards the light. The scents and textures of the winter are already creeping into the workshop and I am okay with that.

Myrtle & Bracken is doing Christmas a little differently this year, and we can't wait to get stuck in. From tomorrow, we will have a corner of the Farm Shop at Ayrshire Food Hub, full of wintry botanical magic. It has been stocked already with some dried pieces and some advent wreaths, ready to get you in the wintry spirit.
Over the coming weeks, the fresh wreaths will also be on sale here, along with planted gifts, grave wreaths and lots of floral gifts for the home in the run up to Christmas.
We are doing a couple of wreath classes at The Hub, but also a series of classes at our beautiful workshop, just outside Mauchline. I am so excited about the classes at the workshop, it is such a special space and I am so looking forward to welcoming some old and new faces into our floral world.
There is still some availability on these classes, you can book via the link in profile.
The workshop will also be open throughout December for anyone wishing to place a wreath order or would like to come and browse and purchase any of the products that will be being sold at the Hub. Just get in touch and arrange a time in advance, just so I can brush my hair put a bit of a face on.

Anyway, that'll do for now, already eagerly planning my next selfie in 2 years time. Golly, I wonder what the world will look like then.
