Wow what an epic week we have had this week with all of you incredible women!! We have absolutely adored hearing all about your wedding plans and helping you say YES to the dress 👰‍♀️
You have all looked so amazing, we shared some truly magical moments with you all.
We have loved seeing all our brides who have collected THEIR actual dress for their wedding… I think every bride comes in with the same nerves… will it fit? Will I still love it? And every single one of you has put your dress on and said ahhhh yes I remember it now…. This is usually followed by oh it has done up ok 😂😂
Another super busy week ahead this week, we are fully booked Saturday but we do have some week day spaces available. We can’t wait to see you all….: for now pyjamas, pizza and bed🍕

Our mid summer sale this Saturday is nearly fully booked with only 1 appointment slot at 10am still available!!!

We will be having the biggest sale this year to make space on our rails as we pre ordered too many dresses for our move in July and we now have run out of rail space…. So help us out and come and grab a bargain so we can clear some room on our rails!!!

👑SHE SAID YES👑

Wellllll a super busy Saturday meant I was too exhausted to do this post Saturday evening but we can’t forget our celebration for all our wonderful brides who said YES to the dress last week. We saw brides with some super short wear dates that meant we made some magic happen finding their perfect dress.
We saw brides for 2025 and 2026 …. we love an organised bride who is so excited and can’t wait to say YES.

Tara has been off for the week so our wonderful friend Natalie came in to help on Saturday, would you believe that we met Natalie as a bride and she loved us soooo much we just can’t get rid of her 😂💕

This week we have a few spaces during the week….annnnd Saturday is our massive mid summer sale so if you want a bargain ooooor if you need a dress in a hurry then deffo get booked in… we need to clear space on our rails… our new seasons dresses have all arrived so once again we are running out of room 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

How gorgeous is this brand new Morilee dress in store….. the soft creamy tone mixed with the greens and peaches of the florals mean that she works for a wedding in any season…

🎉THE BOSS TURNED 40🎉

So this is a bit of a belated post but last week we had a birthday party for Annabels 40th birthday…. It was such an epic party in our brand new space.

It was so incredible to have all of my closest friends and family with me to celebrate this massive milestone of turning 40 and also to thank everyone who helped make the move to the new shop a reality.

Of course a huge thank you goes out to Tara and Fern, without you both my party and the new shop would not have been a reality, I love and appreciate you both more than you will ever know!!

🗝️NEARLY READY🗝️

So here she is our brand new home…. I wanted to share just a few sneak peeks before she is all finished!!!
This has been a labour of LOVE, SWEAT AND TEARS! … we could not have accomplished everything we have without some incredible people, our husbands / partners have put in some amazing work…. My friend Emma from painting to moving dresses to cleaning…! My friends who were like an army moving dresses yesterday and my amazing son and his friend Kyle who absolutely saved the day the last 2 days
My 2 amazing staff members who you all know and Love… Tara and Fern… none of this would have been at allllll possible without your Love, Support and muscles lol
Our new space is truly a place where dreams come true 💕

💕Something New 💕

So our brand new home starting later this week has a super special story behind it. If we go waaaaaay back to when I moved from the Avon side in melksham to the high street, I used to walk past New Hall and lust after it. Back then I couldn’t ever believe that my business could ever be so successful that we could move into such an incredible space…. It was the ultimate dream!
We had out grown our current space a while ago and moving was something that was in the back of my mind and I would periodically look for what was about but nothing ever ticked enough boxes or made me feel that was OUR new home!
One day I was frustrated with loads of small things and I again took to the internet to find us a new home thinking I would have the same problems… and there she was …. Up for rent….. at a rental price we knew would be sustainable and offering us everything we wanted!!! So our journey to our NEW home began.
I can’t quite believe that I have achieved this dream that I have wanted for over 10 years and I am so excited to share in so many happy memories with you all for many many years to come.
So that is the story behind our Something New 💕

💕A little story…💕

So this key isn’t the actual key to the new shop but it does have a very interesting story… we went to look at the new shop months ago and a few days later I did a wedding fair with my friend Natalie. We unloaded the car at the shop and then went for a roast… so my boot was completely empty.. we sat and talked about my plans and I said what a huge move it would be and how it was scary and how I wasn’t sure if I “deserved “ such an amazing space…. This is the building I have been lusting after for 10 years but always seemed impossible!!!
On my drive home I called Tara to chat about the wedding fair and how it had gone, when I got home I opened my boot and said to Tara I am face timing you NOW… in my completely empty boot this key was sat there on its own!
I took this as my sign and I went for it!!! If anyone knows me you will know that I very much believe that the universe sends you signs … and this was the sign I needed… and what an incredible adventure it is going to be!
We can’t wait to share this adventure with you all and make many magical memories with you

… what a month… what a YEAR it is shaping up to be. We have had such an incredible week with all of our beautiful new brides and our current brides collecting THEIR actual dresses! It has been a super crazy busy week in the shop this week and we have LOVED every moment with you all.

So I know I have been super quiet on socials for the past month or so…. But I promise you when you find out what we have been planning for you all behind the scenes you are gonna lose your minds… in a good way!

So last Saturday I didn’t get around to doing my weekly round up so here is my CONGRATULATIONS to all our amazing brides who said YES with us last week and this week. You all looked so wonderful in your YES dress… so perfectly and uniquely YOU.
Did you know most of the brides who visit us we are their first ever shop and they find the most perfect dress with no stress, no worries and they have the most incredible experience having their YES moment. We always love to hear how easy our brides have found the whole journey with us … we really do put so much thought and love into making your wedding dress shopping truly magical.
We have of course had lots of brides in to collect THEIR dress which we adore… we love to share with you in that moment where you fall in love all over again.

Another busy week is ahead of us… but for now.. make up off… pyjamas on and relax!

Another fun filled week in store with some gorgeous brides to be 💕
We have had such an amazing time with you all, we have tried on full ballgowns, slinky satins and some beautiful lace aline dresses as Tara has beautifully modelled for us here… this fab new dress even has detachable sleeves which have been a huge hit!

It has been a full on week of brides collecting THEIR dress this week too which we always love…. Almost every bride is super nervous before coming in to collect … will I still love it? Will it fit? What will my friends or family think… and every time they put their dress on and all of those fears melt away…. Watching you all fall in love all over again is such a fabulous moment 💕

Half term is looking super busy and we only have a couple of empty slots during the week so if you are looking for your dress get booking in

✨LETS TALK TRYING ON SAMPLES✨ So I know a lot of brides are worried when they come in that we aren’t going to have samples to fit or the choice of dresses to try on is going to be small. We are like little magicians when it comes to making dresses look like they fit…. Fern has on Snow White in this video which is a 10… would it surprise you to know that she fits in a 14 normally and this has been clipped to fit her… you would never know would you? We can try on so many dresses that are not your size whether they are too small or too big we will have them fitting so you can see how it will look when it is ordered in your size. Lots of brides come in so worried that we won’t have dresses to fit….. we have samples up to a size 34 so you will have plenty to try on whatever size you are so please do not worry. As curvy ladies ourselves we understood just how difficult shopping can be, and that’s just for every day clothes, so what does the world of bridal offer for our fabulous brides? we have been in the wedding industry for 8 years running our sister shop Belle Of The Ball Bridals, conveniently positioned right next door! we decided our passion for all brides meant we wanted a dedicated shop for our curvy brides who could walk into the shop and try ANY dress on. We love love love helping brides say yes to the dress and we get a real thrill from knowing they have found the dress they will wear when they say I DO. Our boutique is a safe and respectful place where your happiness is our main priority, we fill our appointments with love, fun and positivity.
