Business closing 31st December 2023 Our page is set up to compliment our company website and it would be helpful if initial contact is made by telephone or email as we don't check facebook daily. We would love to have any photographs featuring our cars with the happy couple sent to the page so we can publish them in our gallery. We have eight cars to choose from, from a 1933 Chry

sler to a 2004 Range Rover, with Daimler and Mercedes limousines to choose from, so we think we can cater for any taste and budget. As each wedding is unique and all our cars priced differently depending upon maintenance costs and value, let us know locations of venues etc, and which cars you are interested in and we can provide an accurate quote.

On 31st December 2023 we carried out our last wedding with our 1977 Daimler DS limousine closing this chapter and book after 15 fantastic years serving the Scottish Borders and having met many lovely folk.
The Bride on the day was Ms Charlotte Agnew who was transported to Eccles Parish Church in a vintage Car owned by a family friend and I had the honour of carrying the Bridesmaids, one of whom insisted on me getting in on the action standing with the other Bridesmaids next to the car prior to leaving the Bride's home.
Our best wishes go to the new Mr and Mrs Christopher Hutchens and we bid our clients and followers a happy and healthy future.

On this Christmas eve I would like to say a huge thank you to all our past clients who we have been honoured to provide Vintage or classic cars for on their big day.
Over the past 15 years we have attended 417 weddings with just one more to carry out on 31st December before officially and finally hanging up our starting handle!!
We have already begun to sell on our wedding cars but we do intend to keep just one to allow us to attend classic car shows over the summer.
We will miss the banter with the Bridal parties and also the many photographers and service providers we have met over the years and we want to wish them and everyone we have met since 2008 a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

For our 2nd last wedding of this year and actually our 2nd last wedding before retiring at the end of this year, our 1998 Mercedes limousine was on duty on Saturday 28th August to convey the Groom's and the Bridal party to Jedforest Rugby Club for the wedding of James Minto and Sharon Hislop. Our congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Minto.

Saturday 21st October 2023 saw our 1998 Mercedes limousine conveying all of the wedding party to The Greens, Hawick rugby club for the marriage of Mr John Carruthers to Ms Maureen Rafferty. Yes the rain was there but luckily relented at the appropriate times to allow everyone to stay dry! Our congratulations to John and Maureen.

Once again the rain made a heavy appearance on Friday 6th October 2023 but failed to dampen the spirits of Mr Derek Scott and Ms Claire Oliver who tied the knot at Denholm Church with the reception at The Greens, Hawick Rugby Club. Our 1998 Mercedes limousine provided the transport for all parties.

The other wedding on Saturday 23rd September 2023 was held at the Buccleuch Arms Hotel, St Boswells. Our 1977 Daimler DS limousine was on duty to convey the Bride Ms Rebecca Lawrie with her father from Jedburgh to the ceremony where she married Mr Paul Hill. Our best wishes to Rebecca and Paul.

We were delighted to be providing transport for two weddings on Saturday 23rd September 2023. Ms Erin Craig married Mr Marc Scott at Bedrule Church with the reception held in the grounds of the lovely Bedrule Old Manse.

Mr Matthew Williams and Ms Kara Prince tied the knot at Melrose Parish Church on Saturday 16th September 2023. The Groom's party was conveyed from Schloss Roxburghe hotel, Kelso in our 1952 Daimler Consort and 1998 Mercedes limousine while the Bride was taken from Melrose in our 1956 Bentley. Matt and Kara were pictured at the church with the Consort and Bentley. Many congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Williams.

Ms Esther Githu and Mr Craig Turner travelled from London for their big day on Sunday 27th August 2023. The ceremony was held at St Paul's church, Galashiels and reception at Kippielaw House. Craig and Esther are pictured with our 1952 Daimler Consort at Leaderfoot after the ceremony. Our best wishes to them.

Our 1956 Bentley and 1977 Daimler limousine were on duty on 26th August 2023 for the wedding of Mr Craig Adamson to Ms Nicole Gray. The ceremony and reception were held at Mansfield House Hotel, Hawick. Congratulations to the happy couple.

In keeping with what has been a bit of a theme running through the last few weeks, the rain clouds were never far away on Saturday 19th August 2023 when our 1952 Daimler Consort, 1977 Daimler limousine and 1998 Mercedes limousine were on duty for the wedding at St John's Church, Jedburgh of Mr Chris Smith and Ms Linsey Evans. Our best wishes go to Chris and Linsey..

The rain relented just long enough on Saturday 5th August 2023 for this photo to be snapped of Mr Frank Ferrari and Ms Sarah Bruce after they became Mr and Mrs Ferrari. Sarah travelled in our 1956 Bentley from Clovenfords. Our best wishes go to the happy couple.

Our 1952 Daimler Consort was the chosen transport for getting Ms Kirsty Neilson to the wedding ceremony at Old Gala House, where she married Mr David McIver. The Reception was held at Philipburn Hotel, Selkirk. Congratulations David and Kirsty.

In our 2nd wedding on 22nd July 2023 Mr and Mrs Bruce and Kelly Riddell were pictured next to Ettrickbridge church with our 1952 Daimler Consort after their wedding at Aikwood Tower. The reception was held at Selkirk Rugby Club. The rain stayed off just long enough to allow the happy couple to get a few outdoor photos taken! Congratulations to Bruce and Kelly.

Saturday 22nd July 2023 saw us covering two weddings. The first one involved our driver Derek with our Mercedes limousine conveying Ms Brenda Evans to The Greens, Hawick Rugby Club where the ceremony and reception for her marriage to Mr Calum Ross were held. Brenda readying herself in the Mercedes prior to the ceremony.. best wishes to her and Calum.
