On a cold and grey Edinburgh morn
Mona and Sharif’s love was sworn
High on a craggy outcrop of rocks
St Anthony’s Chapel Ruin was a bit unorthodox
But friends and family were there to see
That Mona truly loved Sharif and his knee
The Bride resplendent in white with a hat to match
Sharif in a kilt, many an eye to catch.
The roof came off, the rain abated
Drive through the streets, at the traffic lights we waited
Elliot the Photographer was there to establish
That the happy couple would have memories to cherish

Saturday 20 August 2022 Leighanne and Sean Campbell tied the knot. The weather was looking dodgy but we managed to get the roof off so that some happy snaps could be taken. Mr & Mrs Campbell thank you for allowing me to be part of your big day. I wish you all the very best for the future.

Today was the wedding of Eilidh and Gary Burrows, the weather could have been conducive, but there were smiles all round. A serious attack of the confetti meant that as I drove home I had a whirlwind of petals and shards of paper billowing out of the Beauford leaving a trail behind me. There is something kinda magic when that happens. Mr and Mrs Burrows I wish you every happiness for the future.

First Wedding of the year, but not the last; that's in September.
Charlotte and Grant Campbell 21st June 2021. I was moved to write these few words;
On the longest day, In the nicest way, Charlotte and Grant did say;
I do love you. The sun shone the whole day thru
All surrounded by family and friends, The scenes captured on a zoom lens.
From Allanton to Kirk o Steil there was a magical feel
Onwards to Paxton House with the roof off sat husband and spouse.
He’s a Copper, She’s a clerk, the wedding ran like clockwork
Charlotte and Grant Campbell these words might seem to ramble

Started a top end engine rebuild for the Beauford during the last lock down, it's ver nearly completed. I decided that a patriotic engine look would be most acceptable.

To day I be mostly doing my last wedding, I know I' said that before. I got a phone call from New York and I cannot say no.
Weatherwise it wasnt the best, but the roof came off and no rain fell. A serious tails event with not a top hat in sight, the only kilt was that worn was by the piper.
