Yesterday was a bitter cold and none stop wind and rain but it didn’t put a damper on this couples special day at all. The low lighting added to the overall vibe we were going for anyway! Just wait until I share images from the dining hall and the twinkling Christmas woodland look 😍

We hung around until the bride arrived and she looked SO beautiful. Emma couldn’t resist taking a sneaky photo of her walking down the aisle from the back. It’s such a special part of the job witnessing moments like this, I was emotional as always! 🙈

Congratulations again Mr & Mrs King! ❤️

Red is a rare colour to be chosen, but wow how it POPPED and we are loving it!!

Quite often our couples tell us they would love to use a certain colour but feel they can’t because it’s not a typical wedding colour. My only bit of advice is to choose what YOU like and let us make it work!!

Shown here on the top table is what we call the ‘waterfall drape’; as it hangs just like a waterfall. It’s attached to the tablecloth beneath to fill the whole front of the table for the more dramatic look and is usually the same colour as the runners on the guest tables. Even when the decor is simple on the table top, it still makes it stand out from the rest.

What’s your thoughts on the waterfall drape? Would you choose this hang?

Usually couples choose to have a centrepiece, but for Tracy & Graham’s wedding I suggested a ‘tablepiece’ instead and I love how it turned out. With a mix of glassware, lanterns, tealights, candle sticks and vases filled with beautiful flowers from it was just perfectly suited to the stunning 🥰

What a gorgeous couple these two make! 😍 Maria & Daniel married at not too long back and I’ve just seen the awesome images taken by and had to share the hideaway set up with you all! They went for neutrals and simplistic which works perfectly at this beautiful woodland venue 🥰

Funnily enough, I only ever met Daniel on his wedding morning and I haven’t met Maria at all.. well only on a video call! They live overseas and Daniel’s Mum planned the whole thing for them so she attended all of the in person meetings at the showroom. Just how incredible is that!

The Hitching Ceremony Room.. a little hidden gem at that we got to decorate for the very first time today! We style this incredible venue quite often, but we’ve only ever dressed the Threshing Barn so it made a lovely change to be able to see how this room can come to life! Perfect for smaller, cosier ceremonies.. although it can still seat a whopping 80!! 😍

A welcome display isn’t just a ‘welcome to our wedding’ sign.. it’s a whole feature 😍 it’s most likely the first thing guests will see upon arrival to your venue, so it needs to be a statement piece!!

We always like to incorporate the card box as guests usually arrive with something for you in their hands, so it’ll be easily noticed and they can leave the cards before heading for the bar!

We loved working at for & Frazer’s wedding. Such a pretty venue and great staff! We even got given a cuppa which never happens! So brownie points from us 🤣

We hand make as much as we possibly can for our stock, like these wooden stands, table numbers and flowers. It all starts with client ideas that we turn into a reality. We have about 73518249 ideas with no free time to do them, until couples mention something similar and it gives us a kick up the bum to make them. So by showing us your ideas you’re not only getting what you want, but also motivating us and giving us a reason to do it 🤣
