Can we just talk about confetti for a minute?

Is there such a thing as too much? How much confetti do you think you need? Are you going for biodegradable confetti or bubbles?

whatever your decision make sure you have lots of it. Whether that’s bubble guns, along the confetti line or baskets and baskets of dry petals. make sure everybody has a really big handful. also ensure that they are in the hands and not still in the bags when people try and throw it over you for best results.

On the editing screen this week is this lovely wedding between Steve & Kat at the Old Marylebone Town Hall.

Having planned their wedding in this area due to meeting close by this part of London has very strong connections to their relationship development. And now, living in Loughbrough they knew they wanted to be true to their foundations and marry at the stunning town hall.

Dannielle & George. Wow what a wedding you shared with your family and friends. A lovely ceremony at Wandsworth Town Hall followed by emotional speeches and dinner at Exhibition in Balham was the order of the day. Daniella wearing a stunning two piece white suit for the ceremony swiftly changed into her cocktail dress before dinner.

With 7 speeches before the wedding breakfast there were many kind and blessed words said about the bride and groom before dinner. I have to share this image first, the joy on their faces as they exit the ceremony ready to face the world as a team really is something else.

I can’t wait to have this one on my editing screen and I still have availability to photograph a handful more weddings in 2025 so if you’re looking please drop me a message.

I’m currently sat in Wandsworth waiting for my breakfast to arrive before today’s wedding at Wandsworth Town Hall.

Whist sat here I had to share this image of Robyn & James from last weekends wedding in Oxford. The elegance of this dress against the classic car with James stood in his tuxedo collaborates fantastically in this capture.

A little reminder to make sure you travel in style to get stylish pictures from your arrival/departure. I have a feeling this one will feature on my site for a long time.

First kiss feels for Robyn & James.

A first visit for me to Oxford Town Hall allowed me to photograph the wedding of these two beautiful people. With getting on for 100 guests the whole wedding party was filled with lots of love and emotion just like this pair.

The stunning gown by was flawless all day and I have a number of stunning portraits to be adding to my grid once they have been on my editing screen.

Yesterday was all kinds of fun for Robyn & James at the beautiful Oxford Town Hall. My first trip (and hopefully not my last) to this stunning venue nestled in the busy centre of the city surrounds by at least 100 guests.

With amazing architecture to play with and Robyn in the stunning sleeved wedding dress and a cathedral length veil I personally loved every moment.

With the reception then over at St John’s College, once again we were surrounded by the most incredible buildings as the backdrop for their photographs.

When you walking in to your wedding with your dad/brother/mum/special person be sure to walk slowly. Enjoy it, let people look at you and your dress. As excited as you will be remember to embrace your entrance. and her dad took a few steps practise before going in and it really helped.

What a week last week was. I got to visit Northern Ireland for a wedding and capture the amazing Emily & Morgan get married at the stunning Bangor castle.

Sunshine, a Georgian house, a castle and great people what more could you want.

I hope to definitely be visiting again soon for another wedding.

How about this one for all of those women who have asked to be engaged today and work for the NHS.

With the deserved job that NEEDS to be further recognised that the NHS do along with the doctors strikes over pay I want to recognise those female staff who have kept with the old school tradition that the bride proposes on a LEAP YEAR.

Heartfelt speeches and meaningful moments. The perfect reason to book a package with a second photographer so that I can concentrate on who is speaking and the top table whist the second photographer can cast a detailed eye over the remaining guests around the room.

Tears, laughter and moments of reflection can be felt all around the room and not only that, having a second during the ceremony is a huge advantage.

Revisiting this incredible wedding at the stunning Cripps Barn from the winter. The lovely Mike and Leanne chose this lovely barn wedding venue for their ceremony and wedding reception.

The Cripps brand is one of my favourites with a number of different venues up and down the country. Notably, Stone Barn being the venue I enjoy the most.

When working at a wedding I like to make sure that I’m looking in as your guests would be too. Close enough to get the details,but distanced enough to see what’s happening.

Children at weddings are brilliant. The innocence and enjoyment that they bring to the most iconic of wedding moment. Like this little lady, wanting to be as much as her parents day as they are! She really wanted to be a special part of the day and I hope these images will be used on her wedding day as blackmail and embarrassment.

Apologies for the radio silence over Christmas, I took the time away from work to build on myself, my style and product look.

Also I have some very exciting news about the newest member of the family. I treated myself to the amazing Nikon FE for the film work I plan on doing at this years weddings. Such a beautiful piece of kit with a great vintage look. I can’t wait to take it to all of this year’s weddings.
