🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ Don’t swipe left, we hope to be back in 2026!

Due to capacity issues, Merthyr Pride will not be holding an event this year. But we’re working hard to put together a team ready for 2026, and we’ll need volunteers.

If you think you’ve got the skills, time and passion to help LGBTQ+ people in Merthyr Tydfil, look out for our posts later this year.

In the meantime, don’t forget to support the other amazing Pride events across Wales.

Can you believe it's been a week already?! Thank you to everyone who came to Merthyr Pride last weekend and made it a fantastic day!! 🤩🥰🥳

Over 1,500 people attended the second Merthyr Pride, a safe space for our local LGBTQ+ community to come together, feel connected and celebrate freely. Together, and with the support of our allies, we all belong. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Flags and whistles at the ready - only two days to go! No need to sign up, just come along to Penderyn Square at 10.45am this Saturday.

Starting at 11am, our samba band and helpful volunteers will lead you through the town centre towards Merthyr College, ready for the rest of the day's Pride celebrations - see you there! 🥳

We’ll be riding in the parade before being on our stand outside the college at Merthyr Pride on Saturday.

Come and see us to chat about how we can help you ride bikes or maybe you have time to volunteer with us to support cycling in Merthyr.

We may even have some bikes for you to try (subject to space and safety checks)
