Hey Saints & Sinners,
I hope you're all well and ready for Christmas! I wanted to ask for a favour.
As you may know, I've been working on a revamp of my Reverend Hep website (www.reverendhep.dj) and am looking to use some Reviews / Testimonials for my performances as a DJ to help build my online profile. As you are all appreciated dancers at my local events, or maybe from past performances with Swingdicate, or at a Retrofestival or further afield, I would be honored if you would be willing to provide me with just one or two sentences; either through a Google Review using the link below or just comment on this post. That's a wrap for 2024 at least. Thanks again to everyone that's supported my local Sunday Soiree's, I know for a few they are not that local and you travel from far and wide for which I am very grateful. Based on a couple of conversations I had yesterday ,I think there is some confusion over whether these are Swing or Rock n Roll dances. They are whatever you want them to be. For these events I'm mostly playing Rock n Roll, Rockabilly, Western Swing, Hillbilly, Rhythm n Blues, Jump Jive, Boppers, Stompers and maybe even a little Swing on request. But all the music is tailored for dancing. Whatever style that is, is yours to choose. Hopefully I've got all the Rhythm n Roots styles covered for your dancing pleasure.

Have a great Christmas and New Year all, and I'll see you in January 2025 for the Next "Are You Still Hep To The Jive"

Thanks to everyone who came along to yesterdays shingdig. Numbers slightly improved as from October and from small acorns large oak trees grow so they say. Special thanks for the donations in the tip jar. It all goes to buying more music and replacing old equipment. It's very much appreciated. Those that were there travelled far and wide, from Swansea to Swindon, and everywhere in between and surely proved you are "Still Hep To The Jive".

For those that didn't make it I've attached a list of some of what you missed. Where else are you gonna get Moon Mullican, Shirley Bassey and Ronnie Dawson under one roof 🤣.
