All the colours of the garden were the order of the day for a very special birthday party last weekend!
And 90% of the product we used was grown at Mum and Dad’s! We used North End dahlias, astrantia, astilbe and alstromeria. The colours were a perfect match with the bunting hung from the ceiling of a marquee. And the majority of guests could take a bottle of flowers home with them!

I mean the first picture is where it all began … a love of colour (clearly!) and flowers! This was the first funeral ‘tribute’ I ever made … we’ve come far - thankfulky!
The love for colour in florals has gone NOWHERE …

The journeys barely begun … it’s merely 30 years between these photos … let’s see what the next chapter holds as I begin to share more of my knowledge and experience with the florists of the future ( ) I mean you! 🤩

About yesterday!
We had an evening together doing something creative but very different to normal!
I gifted the girls a workshop with and we finally managed to get a date in the diary to go and do it!
We chose the workshop to upcycle either a silver salt spoon or sugar tong into a piece of jewellery!
A huge thank you to Violetta for taking us through step by step, aiding our decisions, getting us through a wobbly moment (yours truly), and helping us create these gorgeous pieces of jewellery we can enjoy for years to come! I think we will all be back!

When your friends grow stunning flowers like these for you to work with!
How glorious are these dahlias- I have just picked 25 stems ready for the shop tomorrow! (And can get more for Saturday if needed!)

For Cornelia when she married Jack at on Monday!
What a delight these two were - I’m so glad they trusted me when I said let’s add a touch of blue - it really set the bouquet off perfectly… the sentimental ring I attached to the handle on the morning when I handed the bouquet over was the finishing touch!
I included some homegrown scabious and delphinium alongside roses, freesia, lisianthus and so much more for this soft, summer handtied… dreamy!

It was SO wonderful to be back at at the weekend and to work with lovely Josie for our wonderful couple P & C!
The flowers looked gorgeous alongside the twinkling lights and rustic features of the barn - such a gorgeous venue on such a soggy day!

We were delighted to hear from both the customer and recipient of this gorgeous 64 rose bouquet today after we delivered it to for a guest yesterday! The recipient is even going to try and dry some to preserve the memory - such a lovely idea!

We are delighted to announce our next classes at the Flower School. Some are already 50% booked so with payday around the corner I thought it was a good time to let you know!

With all the gorgeous seasonal blooms we have to look forward to we have put together a variety of courses in September and October including some half term Halloween 🎃 fun for the kids! Hopefully there is something on the calendar that should appeal to everyone who fancies a hands on, florist led workshop. These workshops are perfect for people who would like to learn good, basic floristry skills in a welcoming environment.

So just last week we re opened up Monday deliveries… yesterday we did 18 😅 delivering flowers to Quainton, Waddesdon, Calvert Green, Twyford and Bicester to name a few! It was a great day to be on the road in the sunshine and nearly everyone was at home!!

For florists sunflowers are a bit like marmite - you either love them or hate them.
