I know it's only August, but it's time to start thinking about Christmas for me.
So, here is my first independent wreath workshop.
It's a Friday night from 7pm, I'll be providing a materials and a free glass of fizz for everyone.
It'll take place is St Cuthberts Church Hall, Marton and you can bring your own booze!
Make a night of it before all the madness begins.

Last night at college, we did a group design and it was honestly the nicest night I've had in the 3 years there.
We had a picnic and created this eco masterpiece.

I'm 3 weeks away from completing and hopefully becoming a qualified florist.
I've not always found it easy, driving up to Durham after a full days work is tough, having exams running weekly from January to March almost finished me off.
I work full time, run Oisin & Wolf and have 2 little boys, it's been a tough ride but last night cemented it, it has been worth it.

To all of you who've trusted me with your weddings, birthdays, wreaths - working on workshops with me, I'll be forever grateful for your support, it means the world.

Apologies for the radio silence this month, I've taken it a little slow after Christmas for Oisin & Wolf, but not life!

I have a new job, full time, in a school and I'm in the middle of my practical floristry exam - running to the end of March!
I am still here though, creating beautiful pieces.
Handties, wreaths, funeral pieces, weddings.... etc.

Don't forgeot to support us small, local businesses, it really does mean the world to us. Especially to me.

Going out today; 40th Birthday flowers and 'just because' ones too.

This week I had the absolute honor of creating a small eco spray for the funeral of a beautiful old colleague of mine.
It was a woodland burial, so eco was the only way to honor her memory.

Everything is biodegradable and natural.

Funeral and remembrance work.

Brushing up on my basing skills last night.
This is all eco, so everything will compost, just how we like it!

I don't promote funeral work as much as I should, I enjoy doing it, it's very therapeutic and for such a personal reason too.

I popped to Larchfield Community this morning to pick up some Halloween decorations. They have loads of gorgeous, handmade things in and so cheap too.
You'd pay 3 times as much for these at other places.
Good bacon bun and coffee too!
