Paranormal Activity
The pub itself is said to be haunted by the infamous serial killer, Mary Ann Cotton. In the mid 19th century Mary Ann Cotton was said to have killed over 21 people that she poisoned with arsenic. Mary murdered her two children in the tunnels that lead from the Ship Isis basement to the River Wear. Although the tunnel is blocked off now in the cellar, staff and punters have reported seeing the apparition of a lady and young girl in Victorian clothing but more disturbingly cries, screams and singing are all heard within the cellar and around the building. According to media reports in Higgy Pop and Sunderland Echo the pub is not only haunted by the killer Mary but also some of her 21 poisoned victims also have made contact over the years.

Paranormal Activity
This eerie building holds many secrets with many claiming an intense atmosphere around the location both in the day and at night. Dark shadows are seen, particularly in the hall way and on the stairs where there is believed to be a negative male spirit that has been known to push people when they are on the stairs. This was rumoured to be a soldier.
Mysterious voices have been heard throughout the building and especially in the main masonic hall upstairs.

Good evening everyone I love to investigate Gettysburg in the states and see for myself the battlefields of the civil war and the many paranormal sightings of the battles still going on today. Just wondering what is everyone else’s opinion on Gettysburg and the strange sightings and lights and sounds of gunfire and cannon fire still heard today and soilders still wittnessed marching. Paranormal Activity
This building was filmed in a recent series of Help My House is Haunted and is no stranger to paranormal activity.
Charltons Village Hall was built in the 1900’s to serve the community of Charltons as a miners institute and bath house. Throughout its time the use of the Village Hall changed as due to the closure of the mines, time as a temporary morgue and a mysterious fire. Summer schools, ballroom dancing, yoga are just a few things that the hall is used for today although it appears that not all of the past has been left behind…black shadows are seen in the cellar with a menacing feeling of dread upon entering. Upstairs in the main hall ballroom dancers have been seen in the halls and sounds of shuffling and quick blasts of ice cold air can brush past you and countless reports of hearing unexplained taps and bangs.

Paranormal Activity
This amazing building has been host to rumours of hauntings since for decades. Built in the 1880's this historical building has been rumoured to house the ghost of Oscar Nevin, a sailor, committed su***de by hanging in the cells that are housed beneath Middlesbrough Town Hall (yes we access them in the investigation). Since his passing, Oscars spirit is seen wandering the corridors and cells of the Town Hall.

Another apparition rumoured to be frequenting the Town Hall is a Victorian lady, that appears in period dress is said to have fallen from a balcony whilst in the Hall is also an apparition that has been seen around the building.

Other reports of sudden temperature changes, the feeling of being watched and shadows have been seen with doors closing without explanation. Who would like to come and see what we can find in this huge historical building?

Paranormal Activity
Cleveland Ironstone Mine (dating back to 1847), has a dark history consisting of horrendously dangerous working conditions where long hours were worked in the mines. Life was a daily struggle for both old and young that worked here. There is no surprise that the energy from the past has imprinted itself in time and it is reported that some of the mining folk have never left.
In the north drift, several spirits are claimed to be haunting this location with regular reports of knocking, whistling, footsteps and the striking of rock. The sounds of horses hooves can be heard within the mine. The apparition of a man is said to walk the length of the tunnel throughout the darker hours, some have seen him whilst others have hear his footsteps.
Within the museum itself, the voice of children are heard, in particular, the sound of a young child crying and words such as hello and goodbye have been heard too. Sudden temperature drops have been experienced and a little boy has made himself known on the coal cart. Finally, the apparition in shadow form is seen around the museum where he appears to be searching for something.
Cleveland Ironstone Museum really is an interesting place that becomes more oppressive through the darker hours. Who will be brave enough to join us?

Paranormal Activity
Are you brave enough to investigate an old funeral parlour that leaves many visitors on edge. Many investigating the Parlour have reportedly been grabbed and have unexplained marks from unseen hands. A ghost, named Mary haunts the Annison building and has been seen by many visitors in the building. Dark shadows are commonly reported alongside feelings of being uneasy and watched.
This is an amazing venue and only for the brave but it is one that is NOT to be missed!

Paranormal Activity
Visit one of the most haunted places in the UK. This building has been the place where cruel sentences were passed, savage executions occurred and horrific incarcerations. Such dark activity has left a mark on this place and many of the spirits still linger and are seen in the daytime as well as night. Apparitions, shadows and voices are all heard in and around the building. Poltergeist activity and spirits that have very bad negative intentions.

Champness Hall is one of the biggest buildings in Rochdale and has many rooms to investigate including corridors, and stairwells.

This building is an impressive building that when the lights go out takes on an eerie persona. Reports of paranormal activity include the sighting of a dark shadow figure that lurks in the corridors and unexplained footsteps and voices. Doors have been known to bang without explanation. The most extraordinary events are that the Great piano has been heard to play without explanation and at night, despite the sheer size and weight, it has been known to move!

This is definitely a venue to be explored and one not to be missed!
