What a day yesterday, an amazing day photographing and celebrating the wedding of one of my very best friends. Viv and Barry had just the best day, it was a privilege to be part of it at St Tewdrics House. Welcome to day 2 of my little introspective into my work from back when I started this wedding photography journey.

Here we have a lovely little wedding from 2012, I think it was my 5th wedding I’d shot at the time, still remember it well, and still love the images from it. All monochrome for this set, imagery in its purest form.

I’ve taken a look back at some of my very first weddings, & will be sharing my favourite images from them over the coming days.

It’s a real buzz going over my older work, remembering the lovely moments from all those years ago and seeing how my approach back then has stuck with me to the present day.

Let's talk about consistency in wedding photography. I've been in this wonderful world of weddings for getting on 15 years now, and have shot hundreds of brilliant days, for the most amazing of people.

From my very first wedding, my approach to how I photograph has not deviated. Whilst there have been some subtle changes in my colour editing, my passion for unobtrusive, hands-off wedding photography has definitely remained.

I’ve taken a look back at some of my very first weddings and will be sharing my favourite images from them over the coming days.

It’s a real buzz going over my older work, remembering the lovely moments from all those years ago and seeing how my approach back then has stuck with me to the present day.
