To be fair the car exit is sometimes not as elegant as you imagine! It can be tricky. You can end up in a right pickle here, it’s totally normal though! So after watching it so many times, here are some of my tips that will deffo help!
1. Don’t worry about the door—let your chauffeur open it before you hop out.
2. Hands off the bouquet. If you’re holding it, pass it to the chauffeur before you get out, or leave it on the seat and let them know. You may need both hands.
3. Take a quick look around. Before you step out, make sure you’re not about to land in mud, a puddle, or a pothole.
4. Bring your dress to your lap and make sure your heels are not caught on the bottom. Swivel your body to face outwards and place both feet together outside the car. Then stand up. If you need to grab your chauffeur’s hand to keep your balance as you get out, let them know before you exit. Watch your head! Your chauffeur should take your hand from your right-hand side, not stood in front of you, or if opening the door, from your left, and then they should stand behind the door to avoid obstructing the photo opportunity.
5. Once you are standing, let the dress fall to your feet. Have a quick dress check before the chauffeur shuts the door to make sure your gown and veil are all the way out.
6. Reach in and grab your bouquet or ask your chauffeur to pass it to you. 😎

Wow, what a cracker of a day yesterday for Teelah and Reece. Grittleton House is super special venue! Teelah & Reece got ready at home and then married in their local Church in Timsbury before heading off to the venue. From a friendship to being swept off her feet with a single red Rose, Teelah wore a traditional veil as she was given away by her brother David.

//Over the last few years, I’ve been offering hourly options for wedding photography—whether you need 6, 8, 10 hours, or even coverage for the entire day - from cornflakes to when the DJ stops! Instead of the usual vague "bridal prep until the first dance" package, this gives you the freedom to pick and choose what’s most important to you to be photographed.
One of the best things about this is that you can decide where you want the coverage on your day. You get to allocate the hours where they matter most. Once you’ve worked out your schedule, you can put your start and finish times on the schedule that is submitted back to me the month before the wedding, so everything’s tailored just for you. This has made it easier for couples to book within the budget they set for the wedding, while still capturing the moments you care about most.
Since wedding ceremonies can happen any time between 11am. and 3pm., this flexibility has been a game-changer. //Couple Shot’s It’s safe to say that photographers and videographers can’t simple just pull great couple shots out of their ass. At the end of the day great couple shots take team work, not just from your photographer and videographer - but also from you as the couple. Before you say “We are not good around a camera” Who is…! On the day it is my job to ensure you are comfortable and also have fun! … I get great feedback from my couples about this section of the day it’s easy going and it simply is just a good bit of fun! 95% of what I capture of the day is documentry But here are 3 tip’s to help you with the couples segment: 1. Chill: Authenticity shines through in photos and videos. Instead of trying to mimic poses or expressions you’ve seen elsewhere, focus on being genuine and comfortable with each other. Be yourself, Relax, laugh, and enjoy each other’s company naturally. I like to capture those spontaneous moments that truly reflect your relationship and just you guys goofing around. 2. Trust the Professionals: Remember that your photographer and videographer are experts in their craft. Trust their guidance and expertise when it comes to guidance, lighting, and framing. Be open to their suggestions and let them guide you through the process. When you trust in their abilities, you’ll feel more relaxed and confident, leading to better results in your couple shots section of the day. 3, Prioritise Time: Amidst the hustle and bustle of wedding planning, it’s crucial to carve out dedicated time for the couples section on your wedding. By allocating time specifically for this aspect, you ensure that it receives the attention and focus it deserves.
