What an absolute dream day celebrating Ria & Arran as they said “I do” in the gorgeous St Audries Park. It’s so clear how much love these two have for each other, from their first meeting at work (with a little nudge from friends!) to the magical proposal under the lights of Edinburgh’s Royal Botanic Gardens. Even Santa knew they were meant to be!

Yesterday, I had the absolute honour of capturing Tamara & Graeme’s magical winter wedding, and wow—what a day! From Tamara walking to her childhood church in her wellies to the warm glow of their evening ceremony, loads of love, laughter, and all the Christmasy, fairytale vibes you could imagine. //Light is fundamental in photography. It comes in all sorts of variations, and not all light is good light! If I were getting married today, one thing I would definitely consider when choosing my venue would be light. Not all venues have great light, and not all venues have good light in every room! Many photographers do the best they can with flash in situations where light is bad quality or where there is inconsistency with white balance so they can create images that pop. Light is particularly important for capturing beautiful shots like these. When visiting a potential wedding venue, you should do so at the time of year you plan to get married and one rule of thumb to remember is to ask yourself, ‘Where is the natural light?’ When indoors, it should always be to the side of you or in front of you — never, ever behind you. Ever! Thats during the ceremony, Speeches and in most cases during preparations. If you need help with this… reach out and I’ll give you a guidance. 😎📸

From a magical proposal on a Baltic cruise to a relaxed, fun-filled wedding day, Emma and Stanley’s journey together has been nothing short of incredible! After 11 years of love, adventures, and a little corgi named Mac, they tied the knot at the stunning Barn at Berkeley with their closest family and friends by their side. From heartfelt vows to plenty of giggles, Doctor Martins and Lego Flowers they both made the day their own with these little touches. Such a beautiful family, thank you so much for a great day!

How to take wedding photos in the middle of a Storm 👌🏻🥰 There was no let-up in the rain yesterday, but Natalie and Mark had the most incredible day at Clearwell Castle. For Natalie’s family, this destination wedding was a truly unforgettable experience, bringing many of them from the States to the UK for the very first time. From a first kiss at Raleigh Airport baggage claim, this international couple shared the most wholesome day with everyone who means the world to them. A gorgeous couple and family.
