Total Retro is the brainchild of 2 brothers who after attending a fair few shows and events over the years felt that they could add something to the annual show calendar. Both of us have a love of, if not an obsession with all things "retro", especially if it has an engine!!! So this page is the first step in our quest to create an annual event/show/festival to celebrate our passion for all things

"retro"! What we hope to create is a weekend event, near Kendal, Cumbria, including a chilled out camp-over with a bit of a party night on the Saturday followed by a full day on the Sunday to include

Show 'n' Shine for two wheeled as well as four wheeled vehicles,
Club displays,
Motorbike stunt display team
Lots of trade stands for the whole family,
Fun fair for the little 'uns,
Live music
Licensed Bar and lots of food,
Various competitions for all to take part in
And lots lots more

OMG, THIS IS INCREDIBLE! PLEASE SHARE!

So…. it’s taken us a little while but we’ve finally managed to tally everything up and we are really chuffed to let you know that Total Retro ‘24 was a RECORD BREAKER and raised more money than any previous Total Retro show, even beating last years impressive total!

We are really pleased to announce that The Morecambe Bay area RNLI Lifeboats will benefit to the tune of £26,116.45!!!
YEP OVER TWENTY SIX THOUSAND POUNDS!!

That’s our best year yet, by a long way! It takes the amount created for charity since we started the event to over £72,000.00.

Chris and Dave would like to say a huge thank-you to everyone that supported this years event, from all you lovely people that bought tickets, all the unbelievable show car owners, the clubs, the traders, the suppliers, the award and event sponsors, the landowner and most importantly the small but utterly amazing team of volunteers that help us over the whole weekend of the event, they take annual leave from work and help us, free of charge, from the first fence panel being lifted onto the field to the last bin being emptied, and a whole lot more in between, without them it simply wouldn’t be possible… You’re all utterly amazing!!

Dave Day 8th June 2024 "I'm having a DAVE day!" Bloody brilliant! Incredible turnout… Burton services had to be officially closed in the end, because it was literally FULL, as you can see from the first photo…. A never ending stream of motorbikes, every bridge was packed with folk, everyone waving and the bikers waving back, horns honking, lights flashing, police sirens….. a great atmosphere, all for a great bloke!
