Seared scallop, celeriac remoulade, truffled cream. Shellfish oil.

Starter

Seafood terrine, with pickled cucumber and girolle mushrooms, saffron and tarragon dressing, baby leaf and herb salad.

Just had a gorgeous Sunday lunch with the guys at the K&Q Longcot.
It’s still early, so get yourselves down there for an impromptu Sunday lunch with Marcus, Megan, Helen, Danni and the rest of the team and cure that hunger, hangover or disappointment with some great food and service. 😁👍

A huge thank you to everybody that supported the Italian evening last night at the King & Queen Longcot.
A really enjoyable evening for me and the team with a great atmosphere and lots of eating and drinking.
In these tough times we are going through whether a Business or otherwise, it meant a lot to us that you came out and had a really good evening and gave me great positive feedback.
Thank you all once again and thanks to Marcus, Danny, Megan, Victoria, Will, Vina, Louis and the other Barman! ( sorry 😁)

Tickets are going well and the evening will be great with great wine on offer and great food all handmade using the finest ingredients from the kitchen.

Started with basil and Parmesan arancini, then bass,scallop and prawn ravioli with spinach and a langoustine sauce, then a wild mushroom risotto 🙏fine and wild, then tiramisu made with kahlua finishing with some amazing Tallegio cheese and chocolate, orange and almond biscotti with homemade walnut bread.
Some amazing Prosecco and some great wines!

Just saw this on Sunday brunch this morning from a cool guy Martyn Odell ( Lagom chef) who’s huge in not wasting food (damn right!)
He was doing this very simple potato fish he calls sandy potatoes.
Thought I would do for lunch today with a beef casserole I made from the freezer and roasting some beets, carrots, tenderstem and sugar snaps to use them up!
Will repost later once cooked!
Ingredients are: potato wedges, panko breadcrumbs, thyme, Parmesan, salt, olive oil, smoked paprika and I added some chilli flakes and some dried lemon and pepper spice.
Looked fab but will taste later today. 👨‍🍳💯😁
