Botanical casting workshop Saturday 12th October. 10am start.

During the workshop you will learn how to prepare the clay for casting. Select seasonal flowers and be guided on how to arrange and create a unique design. You’ll be shown the techniques for pressing different flowers and how to mix and prepare the cast. We will be making around 4 tiles and a plaque.

After a creative morning join us in The Loft for a sparkling afternoon tea in a relaxed atmosphere.

It’s been a bit of a strange summer for us at The Workshop and Loft as we’ve tried to work out how our bar opening will work.
We’ve had quiet nights when the weather has been good, or the football has been on and sometimes we’ve closed early.
We opened Fridays and Saturdays, introduced some food and brought in some live music but it hasn’t been busy enough to sustain that and people have been confused as to when we were open.

As Autumn approaches and the nights draw in, you can come and get cosy with a cocktail in The Loft every Friday night.
From this coming Friday you will be able to book charcuterie boards through our website for every Friday night leading up to December so those of you who like to plan can book in advance.
On 30th August and 25th October we have Padrés Tacos joining us, no need to book, just turn up and have your fill of tasty tacos. Menus will follow shortly.

We’ll be announcing creative workshop dates by the end of the month and festive wreath making workshops will also be available to book, they’ll be a little different this year. We might even squeeze in another day time disco, the last one was so much fun.

We have lots of private events coming up over the next few months and as ever, you can book The Workshop and Loft for your own birthday party, baby or wedding shower. We’ve teamed up with so there’s an option to have their fantastic food at your event.

There’s lots to look forward to and we’re still planning the good stuff so keep an eye on what’s happening and come and join us as the season changes.

Floral Workshop

Spend the morning learning how to make a vase arrangement with seasonal flowers and take away a beautiful display for your home. Learn tips of the trade while you work with beautiful stems and foliage. All materials are provided.

Meditation

The boards are stuffed with cold meats, cheeses, chutneys, dips, crackers, fruit, nuts and crudités. £35 for a platter for 2, £70 for a platter for 4.

We have news!

More thank yous going out to those of you who joined us for the charcuterie and live music event on Saturday. We were joined by @jameslesliemusic who was as good as ever. We’ll now be opening the bar in The Loft twice every month, once on a Friday where you can come and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and at the end of the month on a Saturday where you can book our charcuterie boards and ease your way into an evening of live music in our candle lit space.

A throwback to when George and Joshua said “I do” and the venue was glowing and all wedding ready.

We have an open day coming up on Sunday 11th February at The Workshop and Loft in the centre of Mirfield.
