Offering a unique and intimate se

tting for your wedding and reception the Mirfield Monastery forms part of the church that is still used by the monks that live here. Our newly refurbished Romanesque Chapel provides seating for up to 110 guests to watch you say your vows. The Great Hall features high arched ceilings which are bound to make a lasting impression on your guests. With over 25 acres of walled and private gardens, and other areas perfect for your wedding photos, we are sure this is a venue with uniqueness that cannot be matched. We are able to assist with every aspect of your day, from menus to event planning. We can tailor individual menus to suit your taste, and we have the space and rooms to meet your big day dreams. Every wedding reception that takes place at Mirfield Monastery is special.

HELP! This year we had a family attending one of our beautiful weddings who stayed in our B&B. They had a little girl and a younger little boy. The little girl hid the boy’s dinosaur (see picture below) as he was ‘getting on her nerves’…siblings! When they came to check out they and we were unable to find it. But magically many months later it has turned up! Unfortunately we can’t remember the name of the family or the specific wedding they attended😞
We would LOVE to return this little guy to his owner. He has clearly been very loved and if would be the perfect Xmas surprise. If you were married at the monastery this year and you think you know who Dino belongs to please get in touch. Or give this post a share 💕💕

I can't tell you how important it is, to take a few moments for yourselves on your wedding day 🖤

A perfect time to do this is straight after the ceremony during drinks or with your photographer, Jade and Nathan took some time at the end of photos to sneak off and hide for a few.

You're in your bliss and everyone is there, but your day is yours and you should absolutely do what is best for you - schedule it in advance or just take 5 😍

It's that time of year again! We are now taking bookings for our Christmas Parties 2024 @ the Mirfield Monastery. Please email [email protected] to book. We have two dates available, Friday 20th and Saturday 21st December. Places are limited so do get your bookings in nice and early to avoid missing out.
Each evening will begin at 6:15pm with a complimentary glass of either prosecco or mulled wine in our bar area. You will then be lead into the Great Hall at 6:45pm for a sumptuous three course festive meal. After the meal it’s time to dance the night away to Christmas Classics with Dj Joe until it’s time to catch your sleigh at 11:15pm!
The event is 18+ and the cost is £50 per person payable in full at the time of booking. Minimum booking of 2 people and maximum booking of 10. Groups of 10 or more can be accommodated but will be split between tables.
We hope to see lots of you there!🎄🎄🎄

Now that we’ve come to the end of our wedding season a big congratulations and thank you once again to all our 2024 couples who chose the Monastery for their special day. It’s been a magical year and a pleasure for our team to get to know you all. Wishing all our couples the happiest and healthiest of futures together 💕
