We are getting messages more frequently from people being let down by their bouncy castle/ soft play provider last minute. I understand when people enquire they want to shop around that is totally fine if they wish to choose a cheaper option but just think why is it cheaper?
A few of these instances the client has booked their event hire via Facebook marketplace and it hasn’t been from a Registered business. Facebook marketplace is great for advertising but please ensure when you enquire to ask to see their business social media platforms so you can see a portfolio of events they have covered etc.
We do what we can to help in these situations but what we won’t do is allow it to impact our other hires. We think this is only fair to prioritise our clients who have chosen to put their trust in us despite being offered a cheaper alternative.
