It was lovely to see so many people visit our Caer Llan stand at the The Word on Weddings ICC wedding fair earlier today. Thanks to all the newly engaged couples who stopped by and took away our brochure and also to those already booked with us, who came along to say Hi.
I enjoyed also catching up with some of our favourite photographers who have photographed previously at Caer Llan who were also exhibiting today such as Daniella Marinos Photography, Huw and Dale, Marc Smith Photography and Andrew Miller. Special thanks to Andrew Miller Photography for dipping into his closely guarded stash of Jaffa cakes and giving me a twin pack to take home. I know how much these mean to you Andrew so many thanks and rest assured they’ve gone to a good home.
As a family run business, while I’ve been at the wedding fair Vicky has been busy today with viewings back at Caer Llan. She has worked hard to improve our website over recent weeks and has added a gallery of some 900+ photos which includes images from many photographers including the ones mentioned above. She’s also added a facility to book a viewing via the website so if you’re currently exploring venues for your wedding, we’d love to have the opportunity to show you around Caer Llan and talk through your plans.😀

A huge thank you to all who have contributed to another fun packed year at Caer Llan. Our small team of staff have been brilliant once again, as have the many suppliers who have provided services and goods either to us directly or as part of the weddings and events here.

And then of course our customers, to the couples who have exchanged their vows here, and their guests, to those that have held parties and also our corporate guests and visitors - we send a big thank you to you all and hope that Christmas brings happiness and laughter to each and everyone of you.

Serena and Ryan's wedding was a beautiful celebration held in the lovely month of May. Surrounded by the love and warmth of their family and friends, it really was a day to remember. Caer Llan was filled with joy and laughter, creating a perfect backdrop for their union.
They had a great idea to have a magician come in to the entertain the children, leaving the adults to enjoy the speeches without interruption!
Congratulations to the happy couple from all of us on beginning this new chapter of their lives together!

Our 10m x12m stretch tent goes up during the peak season from start of May to end of September. It clips onto the house and veranda along 2 edges and rainwater drains into the house gutters. Over the last 2 summer seasons, It 's been amazing for allowing outdoor ceremonies and receptions on days that this would not have been possible due to rain or intense sun. We still have the gorgeous indoor areas as an extreme weather contingency and during the winter months, but indoors or outdoors can be decided on the day thanks to matching table plans for both options. Its also beautifully lit up at night for your evening guests to enjoy as well. Caer Llan is a wedding & events venue set in the heart of Monmouthshire and the Wye Valley. Hidden away on a secluded hillside in 25 acres of garden, field and woodland, the beautiful old country house enjoys stunning views over the rolling countryside of the Vale of Usk towards the distant Welsh mountains.

Owned, run and lovingly maintained by the Carpenter family for over 45 years, the property plays host to corporate events, weddings and celebrations.
