The annual Montgomery Street Fair is returning to Broad Street this Saturday 6 July
This year we have a host of local vendors coming to show and sell their wares. There will be plenty of food and drink available, with JPs Hog Roast, Amore Pizzas, Nosh 2 Go and Scoopalicious Ice Cream all here, alongside our permanent Montgomery catering venues.
The Street Fair will open at 10.00am. We have entertainment, with performances from Angus Varty and Lilleth, Sally Gartell Academy of Dance, Willow Station, Monty Folk, Nigel Rowlands and Mike Blakesley, with other guests throughout the day.
At 17.00 there will be the Montgomery Show Ping Pong Plunge down the Conduit behind the Town Hall. At this time the vendors will be leaving and we will be setting up for the evening entertainment, so we would ask you to vacate Broad Street at 17.00.
Evening entertainment begins at 18.30, headlined by our main act, the band Helium Believers. Food vendors will be available, or bring your own picnic to enjoy the evening. Tables and chairs will be provided. The evening will end at 22.00.
For those travelling from outside Montgomery there will be parking on the field next to the Fire Station on Chirbury Road.
Entry will be by suggested donation of £2 per person. Please do support the Street Fair, as it is your donation which makes the whole day possible.
