Beautiful blue skies over the Walled garden for R&J ceremony.

Last year we planted Sweetpea’s trailing over the gazebo making the most beautiful scent, I also wanted to break up the black to soften it.

Around the other side we have planted some ancient rose bushes that were hidden in the grounds and too beautiful not to be on display.

The Ballroom which is a very pale blush pink which I had bespoke made as I couldn’t find a pink that was right and the decorators were about to loose the will with me and my indecisiveness!

A lot of people said I was going to regret the colours in this room but I’m glad I didn’t paint it the beige they suggested! This adds character and when you have photos and designs like this you can see how fabulous it is!

Let’s talk about baths….and my slight obsession for them. When we started the renovation of the hall I wanted to up-cycle as many cast iron baths as possible and then put a few more in for good measure!

When we started the Stables my bath obsession got worse and anywhere I could possibly put a roll top I did and everyone loves them!

In total we have 10 in total and reckon I could easily find more space if I tried! My next idea is a bath outside the Boathouse and when we build our Hobbit House (yes you heard that right) I would love to have a roll top bath on top of it!

I love showing you what the venue is capable of and inspiring you with the designs and more importantly showing you what our incredible wedding industry can do!

There is no wedding alike here and that’s what makes it so special! We love helping you put your vision into fruition. No idea will ever be dismissed-we have seen it all and we love it all! From Lord of the Rings, 4 day floral installations, Game of Thrones, tortoises, horses, lorry’s, tractors, llamas, crows, dogs, spacemen, elephants, helter skeltors, bongos bingo…I could go on. Whatever you want we’re behind you!

We’re so excited for our spring wedding showcase. I absolutely love creating this event, the opportunity to be so creative with so many fabulous and talented suppliers.

It’s the perfect day to come and explore the venue, gardens and all the accommodations and sample some of our 4 in house caterers yummy food.

We style several areas for you to get inspiration from, this time we are dressing the Summer House, Dining Room, Summer house, marquee and if the weathers kind under that INCREDIBLE Cedar tree which is a bit of a showstopper!

We also can show you are incredible plans for our Orangery which will replace the marquee for 2026, this space is going to be a total game changer for us and we cannot wait!

There is no charge to come along and we’re open to all couples who are engaged and those that have booked already.

If you’re new to us and would like to book a one on one tour with Julia, Lucie or Laura let us know.

We will also have some mega offers for this April dates, due to the marquee replacement being pushed back we now can offer a whooping 40% off dates in April this year! This will never happen again!

If 2025 is as good as 2024 I’ll be very happy!

What a wonderful year. Other than having our planning for our Orangery on hold till 2026 it has been the most beautiful year.

And due to the lovely planning officer messing up our plans we have ALL April 2025 dates with 40% off due to us having to block it off for building work!

So that’s a whopping 2 night hire with all 10 bedrooms included and a breakfast! If you fancy an April wedding let us know! We will give you all the support and help you need! I’ve planned weddings in less than 2 months. We’re experts so you’re in safe hands!

It’s one of the largest protected trees in the UK so we have to take great care of it, we even have to seek permission to trim its branches! Just over a week since this magical event, and the atmosphere was pure magic! 🌟 This stunning video by @nestalloyd captures it perfectly. It started with cocktails in the Summer House adorned with stunning florals by @budfloral & @miasylvia, followed by an incredible feast from @paisleyflour in the Ballroom, with breathtaking decor by @pheasantbotanica. ✨ We were welcomed by @jadorelevie, serenaded by harpist @starttofinish, and danced the night away under a marquee transformed by @miasylvia. A stunning light show by @edtuffin, fire pits, and a sax set the vibe before partying until the early hours in the Cellar Bar. Thank you to everyone who made it unforgettable. It promises to be the most splendid social gathering of the season.
