One final message from Helen

Week one of retirement almost in and I’ve still not figured out how to say thank you to each and every one of you for the continued support and custom that you gave me for the last 44 (and a half) years. It really has meant the world to us, and the friendships that have grown will long outlive my time at the shop.

Thanks also for all the wonderful messages, cards and gifts that I received on my retirement, I’m absolutely stunned by the kindness and generosity you’ve shown.

To all my staff (past and present), suppliers, and seasonal helpers, I’m so very grateful for all you’ve done.

And to Dennis and Natasha, I wish you every success in your new venture, you’ve got the very best job in the world and the customers to match!

Helen is retiring and her last day in the shop will be Saturday 27th July,

DON’T PANIC THOUGH, Our new owners , Dennis and Natasha are eager and excited to be taking over and opening first thing Monday 29th July, with Carole and Katie in tow to keep things running smoothly.

Wow! How did it get to end of term already?

We have pretty little Kalanchoe and Fuschia plants in gift bags available at the door this week , perfect little gifts for teachers at £4.00
We’ll be open at 8am every day this week too, so you can pick one up on the way to school.
