We had a most enjoyable time flowering Jill & Bruce’s wedding on Saturday at the family’s amazing 🤩home. Jill is especially keen on dahlias so her bouquet , and those of the maids, were packed with some stunners from . Just glorious !

I’ve a workshop demo to do next week so I’m starting to practice! Garden ingredients arranged in a Kenzan , metal pin holder in a bowl , low dish.
I bet the blossom will be off the trees by next week, it’s a pity it’s so fleeting , maybe that’s what makes it that bit special. My tulips are nice and blowsy at the moment but will they last ? This flower arranging malarkey is built on will they/wont they, there’s never anything guaranteed. I’m lucky to have this veranda at The Pavilion, I love it. Currently there’s a garden corner , complete with a hammock. I have a couple of amelanchier shrubs in pots , absolute favourites after being introduced to them last year in a very special garden. Out delivering last week I found a hedge of the stuff , oh the envy 😳

This was our first visit to Errolpark for Sarah and Ross. Bouquets were delivered up a very grand staircase indeed. Meadow trays and aisle markers were transported to the ceremony area in front of the wooden folly. I was a bit apprehensive for the flowers in the Gator buggy as it was a bit blowy but Bill got us all there with no mishaps. After the ceremony these pieces were moved onto the guest dining tables and the meadow trays were placed in front of the top table. Lois & Jack Beautiful Kinnettles Castle was the venue for Lois & Jack’s nuptials. Lois chose a soft, dreamy, romantic palette which complimented the bridesmaids sage green dresses but also the surrounding countryside and views from the terrace. Orange and rust colours are more akin to weddings in September when all the autumn colours are in play. But Catriona chose rust for her early June wedding and we were rather happy with the results. The bride from Yorkshire and the groom Scottish so white roses and blue thistles just had to feature too.
